After watching that hot mess of "fighting for love" drama, i came back to watch this drama and it's like a 10 compared to any of the current female lead centric cdrama out there. This female lead is like a fresh breath of air. She actually has the stature and commanding presence of a general and looks much more believable as a guy than the regular cdrama crap aka doesn't look like she's gonna blown away by the wind any second. She also expressed mischievous behavior of the general well. For me she's the MPV of the show. The male lead well let's just say the scene of him dancing in red topless clothes almost turns me off (i blame the director) the show but he managed to redeem himself back later in the show. His acting isn't over the top and complements the FL well. Though i didn't see how he is supposed to be the prettiest man in capital because he looks quite ordinary. LOL. The drama overall is captivating and well-paced. There are some filler episodes concerning the palace politics but it's to be expected considering the 60 episodes.
