Excellent. 1. Thoughtful storytelling about healing, growing and maturing. 2. Very good performance of FL's actress as a twin (I hate this trope, but she nailed it, rarity!) 3. Drama doesn't shy away from difficult topics (trauma, mental health, loneliness, mobbing etc.). 4. Spot on various types of female bond. 5. Spot on ambitions, career choices and moral choices in general. 6. Spot on the trope of comfort zone. What it takes to leave it? What is the ultimate cost of staying in/going out? .. I have had a hunch that it might be a good drama. It is indeed, not a typical one though. If you did enjoy "My mister", "Lost", "My liberation notes" - this might be a hit for you. If you're more into "fluffy, light romance" - this might be not your cup of tea. *yes, there is a (double) romance here, but it's more nuanced and not rushed...

Came for Neo, definitely didn't like the first two episodes. Wacky, weird, slapstick humour (the "zombies" put me off). The drama itself
was totally out of my "watching range category". And, boy oh boy, what a surprise it was... After the very last ep I humbly have to admit: I thoroughly loved it :-))) It caught me off guard in so many unexpected ways (comedy, characters, script, even so called "life lessons"). Never thought I would love such a character as Chulan. Never expected to be drawn to "Chinese modern/fantasy/martial arts drama". It is still just an entertainment. But a well crafted. And characters are designed to catch your heart before you even blink. Well done, well done.

1. I have never seen a drama with so many characters spitting blood and/or crying. 2. Casting director: How many exquisitely beautiful man/woman do we need to cast? Director: yes, please. *Jokes aside, this is a high quality production drama (I can imagine seeing some scenes in the cinema). With heavy, dark tunes, but also highly poetic (?). Also a real "costume feast". With really creative (traditional) fantasy universe. I have seen some snapshots of ZYZ character before watching drama. And I was thinking "is it just yet another beautiful boy/character typical for wuxia or can he actually act?". I'm so happy, I was so wrong :-)) This drama hopefully will be his "break through" role 💪. The only minus I can see: heavy level of dramatism. There are tears here, there and everywhere. It seems like the director really enjoys putting yet another torture on the character. The ending feels satisfying (to me): melancholic with a grain of hope <3 Well done FOF.

cd. after finishing the whole series... This had a very nice potential that somehow was lost during middle episodes. Still, a solid ride with intensive emotions and some very interesting symbolism. This series rides on a good storytelling concept, interesting ML and captivating visuals (cgi in first eps, costumes of demons). Personally I feel like it peaked around ep. with 1st fight with water demon. The scene itself was smart, fresh + visually and emotionally captivating. I was hoping the story will be going in that specific direction. I probably expected more boldness with game/novel motive. It came back in the final episodes (in a satisfying manner), but it could be so much more... ✨

Am I thinking right seeing the visual/metaphorical connection between Ziqui's weapon (the crescent) and Miaomiao's glass pen (don't want to get too spoilerish) from final episode? It hit me that her "tool" or attribute became his "ultimate weapon" in the novel :-)) If so, this is a very touching symbolism. As a person connected with writing/creating this somehow hit me.

Rest in Peace, my man. You were one of the absolute best actors I've ever seen. You have no idea how much I personally…
Such a great, great comment.

Out of words, heartbroken and angry. This is the worst outcome of the situation he was dealing with. I won't write about bullying/media handling the "drug subject", cause it makes my blood boil.... Great talent. My Mister is The Drama for me. I loved, loved the character, storyline. A few dramas made such an impact on my life/way of feeling and thinking. Just can't believe the news is a truth
Go free Lee Sun Kyun. Thank you for your talent 🙏

Title Moving
Non-spoilerish short summary of Moving [9/10]:

Should you give it a try?
1. Reach, meaty and extremely intense (I jumped in without knowing any part of plot/webtoon).
2. Heavy but smart mix of multiple genres.
3. Great cast, especially with veteran actors - top action scenes.
4. Clearly inspired by Western superhero movies, but delivered an original/Korean version anyway.
5. Clear values - family, loyalty, parenthood. How do you define "humanity"?
6. Catching OST - sweet, meaningful.

Minor flaws:
1. Heavy violence, some scenes on the brink of satire.
2. Little unbalance between children/parents storylines (your view of the show might depend on kids/parents story preference).
3. Small flaws in implementing supernatural heroes in "reality" (final scenes, the poor bus...)
4. Lack of emotional factor in the final meeting for some heroes.

Anyway, as much as I couldn't unsee some flaws, the show is a heckle of a good job. Special call for a GREAT script, directing, action scenes, production and PERFECT casting. Ryu Seung Ryong as Jang Joo Won stole my heart - this is award-winning character. 10/10 performance.

I'm getting deep into the story, and boy... there are more and more gore scenes. As much as I enjoy the storyline, I can't stomach some "highly creative" fighting scenes with a specific individual involved. I just had to fast-forward them. I've noticed 18+ restrictions, but, welp, they were definitely serious about it ^^''' [edit] I was quite happy to live behind a story of a specific hero's-hunter. But now it's a background of a specific gangsta hero. Bruh. So much blood, bruises and broken bones x)))

I started this drama out of pure curiosity (I liked the poster x)... ). Knew literally nothing about the plot, or characters as I was just searching for pure entertainment. And had a rather sad/disappointed withdrawal after The Uncanny Counter 2 (if you know, you know). After 5 episodes - "wow, please, let it stay this way, please let it be a smart writing till the very end".

Silly game for anyone who's gonna watch TUCCP [light spoilers ahead]. Drink/have a snack every time, when.:

1. So Moon dramatically screams "ajusshi!!!"
2. anyone is getting chocked
3. you hear evil, exaggerated laugh
4. "I can do it!! We can do it!!"
5. So Moon says "I will fight alone"
6. something creeps from black goo
7. sudden memory loss
8. Mrs Chu says "ok, everyone - noodles!"
9. Mo-Tak getting angry (at anyone)
10. Jeok Bong has nosebleed

Enjoy!

Before I continue (on ep 4 rn) someone please tell me if any of the main characters from season 1 dies.. Just…
No - they're gonna be alright ;) However, get ready for a heavy violence, fights, bruises etc. There are multiple suggestions of characters being "on the brink of death" - but it's all resolved in a positive way, at the end.

Season was saved thanks to lovable characters (counters, Yung), original story (webtoon), well-performed fighting scenes and solid acting skills by So Moon's, Pil Kwang's and Ju Seok's actors. All other criticism - well deserved, as it's clear the show lacks solid writing. Scenario/writing 5/10, acting 7/10, humour 5,5/10, action scenes 8/10, visuals 7/10, romance 4,5/10, emotional value 7/10. Overall: 6,5/10. Additional factor for lower rating: phenomenal 1st season (9-10/10 concept).

First eps of the 1st season took me like a wave. I usually don't binge-watch, but I just couldn't help. I found myself watching ep after ep till late night. Hearing the opening theme was enough to get goosebumps. It was fresh, creative, funny, and emotional. And I couldn't wait to know MORE about this world and characters. Ofc there were some flaws in s1 (for me - exaggerated violence), and it was clear the best writer left. Now... it's more clear to me that you can have great base (webtoon), budget, charismatic/sweet actors, great fighting scenes etc... But if you don't have a GOOD WRITER and a coherent storyline - you have nothing (left). Still - loved the characters in s2, shed a tear here and there, smiled. And that's all. ps. I had a similar experience with AoS seasons 1 and 2 - great drop in quality. Or maybe it's our fault as we had too high expectations?

So far, so good. I had 0 expectations for this one, but liked it from the start. For now it seems coherent with the writing, the characters are sweet. There's a novel topic, chemistry, some mystery, a little bit of humor. I'm hoping it won't disappoint with cliches like sudden amnesia or similar... ps. liked ML from AOS and his awkward expressions are the highlights of every episode

I have 0 expectations for this drama. Also not a big fan of vampires/fantasy. And not familiar with Taec Yeon. Maybe that's the reason I really liked the starter episodes. I just wanted to find something with a "light" plot and not-so-much heavy drama. And you know what - fingers crossed - it might work! ML looks are perfect for a vampire (these ears!). I'm surprised by his acting skills - he plays comedy really well. And is able to get into some drama/emotional scenes, too. I was able to have some serious belly laughs (fangs scene ofc, facial expressions). I like the aesthetic details. So hoping for the story to be both interesting and not so serious. Fingers crossed <3

Ah yess ;) A masterpiece indeed. Have you found any other drama with similar vibes? By "vibes" I mean something…
IOTNBO is a good choice. A lots of well written metaphors + Oh Jung-se's performance as a cherry on the top :) ps. if you did like the topic (mental health, healing) try "Kill me, heal me" - a little bit older, but a solid, classic one with a deeper meaning as well.

Ah yess ;) A masterpiece indeed. Have you found any other drama with similar vibes? By "vibes" I mean something that gave you exact level of catharsis. Or pure joy. Or both. I'm watching "Melo is my nature" (haven't finished yet) at the moment and I'm suprised how good the scenario is.

Usually I don't like watching romcoms. But this one is so refreshing and unique; can't wait till the 5th epsiode…
Speaking about FL, have you seen "Lost"? Highly recommended if you'll like to see JDY's acting abilities. "Lost" is one of the very few 10/10 mature dramas for me. "Crash course..." seems fine. I'm happy with middle-aged leads. I didn't have big expectations, so let's see what they can bring to the table... I'm not a big fan of FL's fashion choices, too. I do understand however the purpose of this type of outfit - it is realistic to her story. It's just... there seems to be a huge gap between her world and the CCY's world. I don't feel their romantic attraction at all. As much as I wanted, I couldn't get the feeling of a "karaoke confession scene". I would believe fully in their "childhood friend connection", though.
