Fuck no, that was straight up torture. No excuses for him!! What he did was absolutely abhorrent. And that's Vegas,…
i do hope you're right and they actually fall in love i would love to see that weirdly, i hope they show more of them and how they interact as vegaspete is interesting
Nope, not excusing his actions in any way, just calling it as it is. Vegas is truly psychotic and he's finally…
i view people saying "pete likes to be tortured" or "vegas changes later on" is excusing his actions. it's just my opinion though, and people are free to disagree and enjoy vegaspete. i dont think vegas "met his match", pete is just more resilient (in my opinion)

info dump about stockholm syndrome. you dont have to read it though, and even if you do you can still think differently "Abusers often threaten and physically harm their victims, but they might also show kindness that can be interpreted as love or affection." "Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response to being held captive. People with Stockholm syndrome form a psychological connection with their captors and begin sympathizing with them.
In addition to the original kidnapper-hostage situation, Stockholm syndrome now includes other types of trauma in which there’s a bond between the abuser and the person being abused.
Many medical professionals consider the victim’s positive feelings toward their abuser a psychological response — a coping mechanism — that they use to survive the days, weeks or even years of trauma or abuse." "People who have Stockholm syndrome have:
Positive feelings toward the captors or abusers. Sympathy for their captors’ beliefs and behaviors. Negative feelings toward police or other authority figures." "Another theory is that a captive or abuse situation is highly emotionally charged. People adjust their feelings and start having compassion for their abuser when they’re shown some kindness over time. Also, by working with and not fighting against an abuser, victims may secure their safety. When not harmed by their abuser, a victim may feel grateful and even view their abuser as humane."
See i am respecting ur comment but u have no right to say how other peoeple are viewing it if you dont want to…
it's their choice. im not saying its wrong to like vegaspete. its the fact people are excusing vegas' actions because 'pete enjoys it' the comment section is there for a reason, and i will express my opinion, just like everyone else can and does

i heard vegas has a big character development, but either way im not a fan of vegaspete at least in my opinion, pete develops stockholm syndrome and vegas takes advantage of that
Why tho? I'm sorry, I just need a reason. I'd like to know your thoughts on the whole situation. Is it because…
people also romanticize their relationship and the torture, so i dislike vegaspete even more. and i agree. had it been a man and a woman, there would be more people disliking the ship, but because its BL they like it. im really hoping they've changed their storyline a lot..

from what i know, pete probably develops stockholm syndrome (it develops when the hostage/abuse victim bond with their abuser/captor. "Abusers often threaten and physically harm their victims, but they might also show kindness that can be interpreted as love or affection") and i dont buy it that people say pete "enjoyed" being tortured i've seen a few things from vegaspete side story and it was only in vegas pov that said "pete enjoyed being tortured" or something like that. which, that doesnt mean he did enjoy it, that's just vegas' thoughts i do like their dynamic, but overall.. it's just toxic.
i skipped 90% of the episode i thought in the first ep they'll show us them travelling to get away from their situation, but I was met with slow-paced, empty dialogue. I'll give it a try but this is definitely not something I'll be impatiently waiting for every week
the wait is killing me ;;
i would love to see that

it just gets me thinking
if pete was a woman would they still like it?
however, it's just opinions, not facts
smiling doesn't necessarily mean enjoyment
and i agree. had it been a man and a woman, there would be more people disliking the ship, but because its BL they like it. im really hoping they've changed their storyline a lot..
i just hope they change a bit of the story and go easy on pete
and i dont buy it that people say pete "enjoyed" being tortured

i hope next ep we get porsche and chay moments, maybe with kinn too
they need to talk
