I am too emotionally involved

In the beginning I was actually rooting for Hyungyu and Sohui since they are highly intelligent and had winner potential. But as the shower progressed, I found myself rooting more and more for the underdogs (Eunyu specifically and even 7high) and was getting so frustrated with the upstairs alliance and their hypocrisy.

When the games began to favor those with more pieces, I knew their was no chance. Compared to S1, I think the games were still very fun and interesting. But everyone in S1 was at least likable and a good sport. I definitely had ups and downs of who I liked and didn’t have any particular favorite until we neared the end and I just wanted anyone BUT Hyungyu to win. It’s fine to scheme and strategize but the dirty plays and getting to just easily coast in the living room and never fight for yourself *cough Sohui cough* (like the prisoners have to continuously prove) just felt unfair and rigged even. I know that’s being emotional but so what, I’m like Hyunjoon.

Once again I think Hyungyu earned his win, but I can’t say he deserved it. It was just so predictable and disappointing and boring. I guess that’s real life for you. Love to Tinno, 7high, Eunyu, Justin, Jiyeong, etc.

Frustrating and Wholesome

Fantastic, give me 14 of them right now.
As an eternal single/introverted and awkward person in my 20s myself, I absolutely adored this show and related so hard to most of the cast. I need to be these girls’ friend. Cried so many times especially for Yido and Jiyeon.

I like how the makeovers in the beginning were not focused only on visuals but on what they personally wanted to work on and be better at, and I think for the most part every had there own coming of age story. Also I appreciate that the main message seems to be that everyone is deserving and capable of love.

My main and only complaint/things I think can be improved on next time if they do a second season, is for everyone to get the chance to have a one on one date with everyone (lowering the chance that they all like the same person), and that the mentors should be able to talk and help them throughout the week.

Surprisingly good!

I watched it in less than 2 days since it’s short and was never bored. Loved the plot twists! Yeri and hongseok have great chemistry but honestly wanted more romantic scenes lol.

I cried a couple times towards the end (I like crying in shows haha). The only thing i think could have been better is maybe getting to know the old man that works at the photo shop more. I really like shoes that can make me think and reflect on my life, also really like when I can feel at least a little bad for the antagonist while still hating them.

My New Favorite Show of All Time

“I don’t want to be someone who offers you an umbrella, I want to stand there in the rain with you.”

I have absolutely no qualms with this kdrama. It was at the bottom of my priority since i normally don’t go for medical dramas and I wasn’t hearing much about it. But after watching the Netflix trailer on a whim it seemed right up my alley since I love shows like Extraordinary Attorney Woo and It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. And boy was I right.

I think everyone can take something from this. It makes you look into yourself and maybe even those around you. It encourages empathy and teaches about various mental illnesses and does not put them in a bad light. I love how every main character is dealing with some sort of illness and we get insight in their life and how they deal with it.

Both romances are so precious and adorable as well. Also love how she has a guy best friend who is supportive of her romantic relationship.
