I haven't watched any BL stuff for years because I grew bored of some releases lately. Terrible and cring acting, I can't even complete a first episode. Nothing sparked my interest so I just stopped looking for any. But then, I saw a clip of Revenged Love on FB, and man, you don't know how my eyes lit up while watching the 1st ep, then 2nd, then I just found myself watching until the 4th ep.
I'm looking forward to more episodes (I'll probably wait until all eps are released coz I'm an impatient mf).
I was running out of good BL series to watch lately β some I start but haven't picked up again and some shows I straight up drop right after the first ep. Then after that, I just give up.
A Shoulder to Cry On gave me new enthusiasm in watching series again. I was able to watch the first 4 episodes, then, waited for the rest. I would say that it is not stressful to watch. The chemistry of the two leads are oozing. They are both pleasing to look at. I think this is their first leading roles, but their acting is great.
Plot-wise, I think it is okay. A teen romance set up in high school. With the students doing actual student stuff. The athlete part of the story was shown well.
What I don't like though is the time-skip (which they did twice or even thrice). I never really liked it unless super necessary. lt just felt really rushed. Especially on episodes 6-7. The quality (atleast visual-wise) of the video on the last episode somewhat felt different though. I can't explain it.
Anyway, I am happy that I gave this show a chance and it gave be a new energy in response.
This show has a huge potential. Not the most unique plot, but if done correctly, it will be huge. The thing is, the editing is a mess. There are scenes that suddenly come up that has no context or seems not related to the story at all. I can't explain it. Like there was a scene that was cut off, so some scenes were not connected at all. It only has 6 ep, so they better not use any second for filler scene. Ep1-3 so far has more RyuJuju scene than TopJuju that I most forgot that the latter is the actual main couple here. π But based on ep4 preview, we'll finally get them scenes. Acting-wise, I think it's okay. Although there were some minor characters who acts awkwardly. Anyway, it's a nice watch as a light entertainment. If you are looking for something serious or heavy, this ain't for you.
Just finished watching the first episode. It's interesting, I would say. π The acting is great, I had a few laughs from the scenes. Although the relationship between the two leads is quite fast (???) idontknow. One moment the boss was being strict and trying to be intimidating, then after I blinked, they're suddenly talking comfortably over the phone. I have no too much complain aside from that. It is also the first time I've seen the two leads' series but I know they had one prior to this. Is it a good watch while waiting for the next episode?
(*I suddenly had a dejavu--when NLMG only had its first episode, I also asked here if FUTS is a good watch while waiting for the next ep. Never expected that I will fall head over heals for PondPhuwin. I hope this too)
Well, finding the person who spread the photos should be easy. Has no one seen any person hanging the banner in the MAIN entrance/hall? I bet there's also a CCTV around the area. Phum was caught once in the locker room.
For someone who βisnβtβ a fan of PondPhuwin, you seem very interested in following this ship. Seems strange.…

This is true though. Whenever I start a new series, and I don't like the characters, the story or whatever, even in the first episode, I'd drop it right away and move on with my life with no problem. Heck I don't even know who OhmFluke is, but I'm quite sure I've seen the first EP of UWMA, but didn't get to finish it for some reason. Hence, I was able to move on quickly and watch other stuff. This hate towards the show's ship is totally unnecessary for someone who doesn't like them in their first project.
Ikr! Ben randomly shows up like a mushroom but is missing when Nueng was actually being bullied. And he just freaking…
Nueng must've probably admired Ben so much since he's got no friend at school. And thinks what he's feeling is love or something. Just god, no. Hope he wakes up from it right away and see that Ben is a hypocritical snake. π£
I know Chimon is a good actor which is why I want to slap Ben so hard, 2 different times in this episode. Once…
Ikr! Ben randomly shows up like a mushroom but is missing when Nueng was actually being bullied. And he just freaking dismissed bullying as "pranks". WTH.
Also this line from the last part irks me so much. It goes like Ben: I'm sorry that I didn't go help you. Nueng: It's okay. Thank you for all you have done for me.
Okay, I am re-watching EPs 1-3 like a madman. And I just learned that there is an official local dub of NLMG in…
"SPOILER"
(Found this on the news article of the network)
Nuengdiao comes from a wealthy family wherein his father owns and operates many big-time businesses. However, their lives change forever when Nuengdiaoβs father gets shot dead - uncovering his dark secret as a mafia boss of a chain of illegal casinos and a drug trafficking ring, which his wife Tanya (Rasee Watcharapolme) and Nuengdiao had no clue about.
Okay, I am re-watching EPs 1-3 like a madman. And I just learned that there is an official local dub of NLMG in our country through iWantTFC (I thought they were only doing Eng sub). Anyway, hearing it in my own language is cute. Pond's voice is not as deep but still sounds sexy. Nuengdiao dub speaks more English, almost half of his lines π€£. But it still sounded nice and follows the word trends of genz. I also found a little "spoiler" from the network who produces the dubbed EP. Will mark it as spoiler below.
