I am really loving this series. 25min each episode, but the plot is carefully progressing. The teaser for next week leaves me wondering what the heck will happen? Is Jihoon finally gonna find out that Jaewoo was the little boy from the future?
PS. The OST at the end of ep4 is really good, especially with the instrumentals, followed by an emotional and beautiful voice. May I know if you got the title?
OMG Taiwanese BLs never fail! This is a light and feel good story. No unecessary drama etc. You can finish it in one seating bit it will leave you speachless every episode.
I screamed my lungs out during the last scene, yelling for more. Hoping for season 2? Please.
Btw, Slow Motion's finally released in Spotify! Such a great song.
All my thoughts about today's episode has been said by many of you guys already. Now, my question is when are they officially going to release «Slow Motion»?
i stopped watching in the middle of ep6 just to leave a comment here. that scene were the detective guy took the baby with them and stuffed him/her IN HIS JACKET is absolutely ridiculous.
After watching EP8 266363 times, with and without subs, I want to share my thoughts on the episode. I want to do a standing ovation to Michieda's acting. I mean, he has been in the acting industry since he was little, and I thought it shouldn't be surprising that he can act, BUT MAN, jokes on me, my boy did his homework well, and did a very fantastic job in portraying Aoki in this episode, especially during that part when they were doing the after class chores. While Aoki was telling his friends the incident with Okano-sensei, he genuinely looked betrayed and hurt. You can see his eyes shaking, almost on the brim of tears, and his voice were clearly trembling despite his effort to hide it behind his nervous laugh. Gosh, that scene really moved me to tears. It perfectly conveyed Aoki's feeling. It made me want to protect him from the evil of this world.
With this scene, it made me think more, and emphatize with those people who experienced being judged by the society by just being true to themselves, generally. Not everyone is like Hashimoto-san or Aida-kun. Sadly, there will be always someone who is like Okano-sensei. Aoki clearly did not deny being with Ida, or covered it up by telling they were just friends or made up sht. He gathered up courage to talk back to the sensei he is looking up to, and proudly said that there is nothing wrong with dating someone of the same sex.
I also won't forget about Meguro who did a fantastic job of portraying Ida. Ida before was a gentle guy, who doesn't offen smile, and is always serious. During the part before he dated Aoki, he seemed always confused. But now that he is with Aoki, he looked very confident and happy. I am not saying that he used to be a sad boy, but everyone can clearly see the change in his eyes. I'm glad to see him strike a conversation with Aoki about opening uo to each other if there is something that is bothering them. A great character and relationship development.
Thoughts about the preview shown at the end (and will be aired on 12.11). I think it has the Christmas scene (because of the Idaoki cake scene) and Valentine's (???) (Hasshi was in her home economic attire and looked like she was baking). Then there's also the misunderstanding at Ida's house. I wonder how they will play it out.
Not related to the plot or anything, but does anyone of you know what is the title of one of the background music played in the series. It is played when there will be a funny scene coming up. It was played several times, like in ep1, when Aoki found out about the Ida-kun♡ written on the pencil eraser. I'm just curious. I automatically smile whenever I hear that BGM playing on the series.
Just found documentary series on Netflix about Johnny's artists, called "Ride On Time". It featured Johnny's and Johnny's Jr. including Naniwa Danshi and Snow Man. This was when Micchi was 16 years old.
Ep 6 was very cute, but it make me feel a little frustrated, I think it's because Aoki Sota, I feel that is acting…
This is actually supposed to be a comedy, light drama about high school kids experiencing love and relationship for the first time, and I can't imagine it being serious at all. It closely follows the manga, which is a huge factor in making live action adaptation. Most people fell in love with the manga because it is funny, and gives off a feel good vibes. I think Aoki's exaggerated expressions and silliness is his coping mechanism to cover up his awkwardness in these situations since he is experiencing stuff for the first time. Not only his face, Aoki was able to use the tone of voice that suits these situations (like being high pitched when he is in-denial etc.,) Anyway, this is just my personal view, I definitely respect your opinion of the drama. Glad you watched it.
