I think I like the first few episodes with all the issues they're trying to throw the show and the multi generation stuff and issues. I haven't seen Il Woo in a long time too in a drama.

I think adaptations can either be good or not but I don't usually compare them if from different countries because there will be differences of course, and like you said, this version stands alone just like its original counterpart so instead I appreciate the (original) story getting adaptations because it just means it's a good piece. I haven't also watched the original but I think thanks to this adaptation that I get to watch the original. There are too many dramas every year so it's impossible to get news about all of them. I think I will get back to this long review after I finish this. I am happy for the main leads for their successful drama.

The acting is great, the ml played a real psycho. But I cannot grasp that ending. You see, innocent people died and didn't get their complete and full justice but he- he he gets a redemption?! Wtf. I think this drama was ants to show that psychos are for real and be warned? Lol. Or maybe for gullible people to stop giving chances for psychos to be psychos. I get the choosing the baby but with a mother emotionally unstable like her, I wonder how the child would be like when he's father's still out there saying he'll live an honest life. But seeing it ends here, it's far from possible. Not pessimistic though but it's a condition difficult to treat with just that "pure love" from the wife.
I feel bad for all the victims, the lady journalist and her aunt and the male journalist who risked his life to save fl lmao.

I haven't watched Love and Redemption I think I will check it later, the director is the same for The Blood of Youth and Blood River and I heard both or these three were successful and it makes me curious.
