Agreed, her view of love has always been tied to her self esteem and worth. It is very sad to see and i feel like the only way to freedom is to realize that she is worthy enough to be free but then this is the tang dynasty soo🤷♀️

Omg ppl in the comments are pissing me off where did y'all get this love at first sight for JS AND SH? Did you watch the same show as me?? JS clearly says in ep 12 to SW that he thought SH was pretty but didn't think much of it. To me JS is such a green flag and i am glad he ended up with SH because they are so opposite from each other that they balance each other out. He was patient, understanding, persistent and honest. he gave SH space to choose him even when SH was adamant on choosing his type (SW). I think what i got out of this show is that if you don't fight for what you want you wont get.
