the reactions here are so surprising to me because ep 6 is my favorite. the first four eps i was like this is jiwon's weakest drama i don't get why she'd accept this but after ep 6 i absolutely see why. incredible acting from everyone (i literally cried and i never cry to kdramas). but i prefer political dramas to medical so i guess i'm in the minority.

if he's an intern, he's 26-27 lol. and it's funny how people complain abt age gaps exclusively when the woman is older.

i don't understand how everyone is so comfortable publicly disparaging wei rao's mother?? when they first brought her up, i thought she remarried a random rich merchant, but she married the EMPEROR? how is everyone walking around calling the emperor's wife a wh*re?? like she's a concubine, not the empress, but she's still quite obviously very much favored by the emperor

on ep 9 and why did a chou save her loser ass brother instead of just her mom and sister? he seems just as shitty of a person as the dad. and how is everyone from her family so ridiculously stupid?? you'd think the smart genes would show up more than once.

are the subtitles off or is being a "trophy wife" considered a good thing in china???

yu meng gave everything away in ep 2/3 with her behavior, esp the third wheel convo. ofc di liren knows that she knows. would be more interesting if she had the upper hand sometimes (or if she could actually act)

so far aren't they all competent except the one that's a researcher? they all just dgaf about anything except money and prestige, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're bad doctors

sujeong reminds me of the fl from embarassment game lmaoo

it's irritating me that lee joongi is in this for like five minutes only

ngl the manila part feels so soap opera-y and the dialogue is so unnatural? or maybe the dialogue is unnatural for all of them but the translation does a good job of making the others sound normal 😭

it's okay i guess...

ngl i love wen xiaoxiao, she's so fucking funny. and her fits >>>

i need lee junhyuk and ok jayeon to do a romance drama together. their chemistry is amazing

tbh i don't get the casting. i didn't read the webtoon but ml is 40? so in the og timeline he'd be 60yo, which doesn't make sense as he's supposedly the company's youngest CEO. they should have cast someone in their late twenties/very early thirties.

i love the plot so i'm going to try watching this, but i've never seen a male centric drama that was actually enjoyable except for beyond evil so idk

seeing as you're the most mentally challenged person on this website, you'd definitely know.

complaining about cheating in a drama that screams that there will be cheating in the synopsis is literal mental illness. do the moral police get equally mad at murders in a thriller series? how do you people live in the real world without killing yourselves?

this is my fav romance drama this year, i hope it has a more interesting ending than filing for love or my royal nemesis.

no...?

wait what did she even do?? is this about ep 4?? nothing happened between them yet
