Really liked this up until episode 11. For me, ep 11 and 12 didn't really add anything to the show and it could have ended at ep 10. In fact, ep 10 feels like the ending, you could stop watching at ep 10 and for the most part, it would be a complete and fulfilling ending. my main issue with ep 11 is that every scene felt too long, they just kept repeating themselves and crying. Also didn't like how all this drama was introduced and quickly resolved in the very next episode. overall I really enjoyed the show but the last two episodes kinda disappointed me.
I really hated the last episode of this show. In general, I hate time skips but this was particularly annoying for me. This one year time skip in this show felt like a pointless tangent, the only thing it achieved was a short conversation between Maki and Haruta. I personally found the last episode frustrating and would have prefered it ended at ep 6.
I usually like sad endings I think they often work really well. I think most of the writing and acting of ep 10 is really well done, I really felt the sadness. But I think in this case the ending comes out of nowhere and doesn't work well with the rest of the show. Yu Xi Gu didn't even get an on-screen death, they killed the main character and we are left assuming his passing for half of episode 10. I think had they conveyed Yu Xi Gu's death better in ep 9 and edited ep 10 differently the ending could have worked far better. Instead, the ending has left me feeling disappointed. (Overall I still really loved the show)
