I saw someone on X saying that pob has passed its second review and is currently waiting for licensing. Is this true? Are there any rumors or developments on this?

The Demon Hunter's Romance is rumoured to air on 13th April today and guess what drama is number 1 on hot search now? Yes again POB 😂,this one is like the most anticipated drama of everyone ever .Tencent just stop testing waters.How many times should pob trend on hot search to convince you to drop it!

I think keeping being licenced a secret until a date close to the broadcast date would have been possible if the series had been sent for review in one of the upcoming months, but it was already sent in last January. How can they wait for such a long time without receiving a response? I think they should announce this month that it passed review and then obtain the licence when they want to release it.For golden hairpin it was said a few months ago that it was waiting to be licenced and be broadcasted as soon as possible.So I think it needs a licence.

I know that dramas are filmed with extra episodes and the final decision is made during the review phase. Sometimes the number of episodes can increase and sometimes decrease, for example, I know that Moonlit Reunion recentlyhas passed review and the number of episodes increased from 36 to 39.Also Skii into love initially had around 30 episodes, then they reduced the number to around 22.As far as I know, there was no problem with the quality.Actually, the fact that TPB still hasn't been licensed worries me. Every drama that finished filming after this has already passed review and got licenced but there is still no news about this one.I hope we hear the good news this month.Last month,I saw a post saying tpob will air in the second half in the comment section of tpob's official tencent account.I think it is true.Moonlit reunion also has passed review today and it was rumored to air in summer before.There is also another drama of Ding yu xi which was also rumored to air in summer.So,I think we will be able to see this drama in September at best or q4.Yes,I know it will be too exhausting and frustrating for all of us if this happens but there are so many dramas waiting to be released this year and the most empty airing slot is actually q4 plus the platforms also don't seem to prioritize SZE' dramas.Every month,others dramas come and go but no movement from hers.

I have never believed that LOFG finished face swap since they first said that it did.This process requires at least a few months.When Brocade Odyssey team decided to do face swap,it took them 3 months to complete.So LOFG can air in May at best.But it may not be possible too since Cheng lei' s another drama rumored to air in q2.I think earliest possible airdate for female general is June.

She was neither banned nor cancelled from anywhere.Techinically,there is currently no problem with her.The main problem is that the platforms don't prioritize her dramas over the others and keep us waiting.It looks like they don't care SZE's reputation gets tarnished by hate every month.So we don't understand what they are trying to do.

To be honest, I haven't followed the news about The Glory much so I don't know the budget part. I thought Tencent didn't make it a major costume drama because there is always a gap when major costume dramas are broadcasted and they are never broadcasted at the same time. As for TPB, I think it would be good if they airdrop all the episodes at the same time. Then maybe they can sell the series to other countries and get their money back in a long term.But, I don't know if it is possible to do something like that.

But SZE's dramas are rated as S+ and I don't think they can turn both of these high budget dramas into short dramas. But maybe they can do what they did to The Glory. The Glory was considered a major costume drama but Tencent downgraded it and now it's airing with Si Jin so Si Jin is a major costume drama. If this method is used, TPB won't be a major drama and won't attract attention. I also think it's risky to air her dramas in the summer. More people's attention will be on the dramas that will air, which I don't think is good for TPB and TDHR. I think it should either be before summer or after.

IQIYI put The Demon Hunters Romance among upcoming dramas in Hong Kong film festival a short time ago.They stepped forward again after last year and there is a weibo post from last February saying TPB has a high chance to be released in the first half.If the situation is too risky and they are afraid of blacklash from public then why they keep giving little hints and hope about her dramas? I got sooo frustrated by this and I really hope we can get clear answers about her dramas' airing situation soon.

Yes, I saw it now, but I didn't understand what It said since it was in Thai. They will definitely announce that It got the distribution license because up until now they have announced that all the dramas got it whether they had scandals or not. For example, both of Yuan Bing Yan's dramas were licensed and announced while she was under investigation. Actually, it is much easier to release Song Zu Er's other two dramas but there is no news about them either and there are already news about the other dramas' broadcasts on iqiyi for Q2,3 Also, it is said that Liu Yuning's A dream Within A Dream will be broadcasted in the summer period.I don't know how this will affect TPOB.

Where did you see that news in twitter? I check it regularly but haven't seen any news so far.Now,I have only one hope that there will be some reliable hints/rumours about its release date after it gets licenced this/next month.If any rumours continues to not come then I will no longer wait for this.
