I've heard such good things about To My Star but I've put off watching it. So many people have hyped it to me, I'm afraid my expectations are too high

Thoughts up to ep 4:
Really enjoying the storyline and the chemistry the actors got going on. The mains are funny and cute. The plot is interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing where it's gonna go with the alcohol and it's relation to chef's dislike of it. He's obviously an extreme lightweight but I don't think that's his only issue with it. Maybe he's had a traumatic experience while drinking? Either way, I'm excited to see if the alcohol-loving main will help resolve some of that trauma. Also hoping he'll learn to balance his drinking habits. He drinks so heavy ahhh

I think you're right about the magician guy creating the identity for him. But I also thought that maybe his style and things changed to fit the modern age he jumped in time to?? Also the clear mask is actually kind of accurate. I've seen them used for people whose faces typically need to be seen (like celebs and interviewers, etc). Did you notice the lady wearing that clear mask changed into a lady wearing a normal one? That confused me a bit.
