Can someone tell me if the series is following the novel or not?

It was the push she needed...as she was still holding back. Have to remember that I the no el she is a modern girl but was somehow transported back in time. So her thinking is also very modern in both the good and not so good sense.

Oh so beautiful--she played the flute for him...her fiance, which in Ep 19 (?), LBY said she should play only for her husband. Prophetic!

I liked how he played along with the punishment scene and he was also smiling when CSS came to LBY.

Can you explain how?

Am rewatching Ep. 1 where we first meet LBY. Did anyone catch that he puts on the cloak like Dr. Strange?? Then he first "meets"...CSS' hand.

Also, in an earlier episode, LBY described himself as being caught in the past. The wrong was so great, there was no way he could avoid the revenge. He was the only one left to do it and the Emperor has to maintain peace.

I just watched the last episode and stayed for the entire cast dance scene, which had deceased characters too! Loved it. Not looking for historical accuracy but enjoyed the friendships and loyalty themes. Was also very touched by the healthy mom characters and the love that the younger characters had for their own mothers. I will be rewatching this again soon!

Does anyone know: Is the source novel available in English?
