As much as admire Bright and Win, I think I am gonna pass on this one. I've seen so many versions of this series and is already an overload for me. I am sure both actors will portray their characters well.
I don't know if it was intentional because personally during the earlier episodes, I did not feel the chemistry between the main characters. Now, here comes EP 10 and I felt the sincerity and the connection with just a simple hug. The best scene for me was when Wat's chin was on Tine's shoulder after the latter said yes to becoming boyfriends. I don't know also if they are just great actors or they are not playing Wat and Tine anymore but themselves. Finally, what I like is, the team did make the series light, fun and simple.
This series is a blessing. It makes the situation right now, bearable. I don't know if its going to happen but they need another series together. Don't know about you guys, but Tine is like the male version of Song Hye Kyo.
Episode 7 was a blast. I'm glad that the backstory of how they first met (Specifically Wat met Tine for the first time and was captivated by the latter) was given emphasis and for me, it held the Episode together. The confrontation scenes had the right amount of rawness and it was not done in a too melodramatic way. It was great that nobody cried but I felt their hurt, anticipation, frustration, regret, hope and other emotions that came out because of what they had been through so far. Maybe the director understands that the main characters/protagonists are men. I felt the emotions of Wat through his eyes. The way his eyes were on the verge of shedding a tear when he is hurt makes me want to comfort him. Win has been spectacular all through out the series so far, and EP 7 was were I appreciated Bright's acting the most. I am starting to feel that this might be my new gold standard for upcoming BL shows. Like those that have been my favorite, it will probably take time so that i can move on and appreciate other shows out there. I need Season 2 of this. And one more thing, I don't know if anyone noticed the scoring that has been impeccably incorporated in the scenes. It magnified the emotions. There's nothing new about the series and it evolves around the same formula but it is so beautifully done that makes me want to have more. If there is something I can recommend, please finish the series first before reading the novel. If you have read the book, let it stand on its own. There are some differences but those made the series more enjoyable.
Certainly one of the bests this 2020. Simple, not too dramatic, the gestures and lines are on point. Apart from the actors being eye-candies they are also great in portraying their characters. The producers know how to end every episode to keep the viewers want for more. I feel like Fridays are too far away especially at these times.

Totally agree. I don't know it its just me, that sometimes I feel like some series (not only BL) bombard us with a lot of skinship or love scenes to compensate for lack of chemistry or inconsistent plot but there are others that these scenes are necessary. With this one (2gether), its different. I don't mind if there is no love scene and actually I kinda expect that there will be none but I don't feel any disappointment. Should there be one (or more), its already a bonus or giveaway (but I also am thinking that its better not to have these love scenes of they will affect the simplicity of the story). That being said, I wanted these actors in another series; either a sequel to this one or another one which is also BL but with maybe, a more mature plot. ( Am I asking for too much? He he he.)
But... Isn't this how being a celebrity works in any country? Everything you described is hardly specific for…
Yes, I agree. We should not forget it's still business. Whether in Thailand or any other country. That's why I keep reminding myself they are just depictions only of characters. I don't really dwell with the actors activities outside their show.
Just my two cents. Again, from a country where BL stories are produced rarely and are only sub-stories or sub-plots of regular dramas I am grateful that Thailand keeps producing these stories. I very much appreciate it that they let us viewers and fans from outside Thailand to see and be entertained by these kind of series especially right now that we are experiencing a pandemic. I just want to share a few of my personal views, observations and concerns on the comments that I have read so far about the series.
1. Departures from the published novel. I have read a few chapters that are translated in English and I have noted that there are a few differences from the novel. I am not gonna write what are those in here so as not to affect other viewer's outlook or expectation especially those that choose not to compare and just stick tto how the series is going. But, I am not bothered at all by the departures because those did not really changed how the characters are portrayed nor the development of the story. I believe the director, producers and other persons involved has good reasons for the differences. Again, in the novel we read how the protagonists (especially Tine) thinks and how he feels. In the series, they are conveyed on how the characters are portrayed by the actors and they are really doing a great job.
2. Kissing scene. I am not sure if the actors really kissed because of the camera angle but again, I am not bothered by the said scene. Remember, Sarawat was drunk and I believed he intentionally forced it to show Tine what he really feels. So, it might be a sloppy kiss but the intention was there. I am a believer that some stories require a lot of skinship for it to be effective and some does not. For this series, the conversations, the gestures, the eye-contact (or the lack of it sometimes) are all appropriately done. (I am too technical already and I am not even an expert about tv productions...he he he sorry).
3. The "couple-role" that they should play. I am not sure but in Thai, I think they call it as the "Seme" and the "Uke" (I stand corrected on this). For me it does not matter who should be this and that. Cliche, but I believe love is love. In the series, I can't really tell who is more dominant between the two. Sometimes, Wat is this strong-alpha male but when it comes to Tine there is a tender side to him and that is only for Tine which I really like. Who know's maybe the director wanted to keep us guessing to entice as more and get hook with the development of the characters. As for me, again it does not affect my positive outlook about the series whether Wat should be the husband and Tine should be the wife or the other way around. If they can finish the story with us fans guessing who is playing this and that role, I'm fine with it. After all, both the characters are at the early stages of knowing how they really feel towards each other.
4. To change for love. Right now, I believe that Tine will not change and be attracted to other guys aside from Wat and the same goes for Wat. I am not really sure in the book though because I have not completely read the the English translation. In the first place, why should they be attracted to other males when they are already a handful of testosterone (sorry for the description he he he). Tine will still be looking at other girls for sure and admiring them from a far. That's the beauty of it because it will keep on getting into Wat's nerves and he will do whatever it takes for Tine to commit his heart only to him (so dramatic but I like it. he he he).
What I have written above are just my personal views. I don't want to contradict what other fan's think about the series. The best that I can do is to appreciate what is delivered to us. I can only imagine what the actors, the director, the producers and other people involved have to go through to give us good entertainment. I admire them so much for doing a great job.
Again, thank you Thailand. Please keep everyone safe there. Looking forward to more series.
From a country that does not have enough of these types of shows, I have become a fan of Thai BL series. I have watched few and mostly have impeccable story lines. This one has a simple premise but effective. The actors are eye candies too. Ha ha ha.
