🙄 I’ve seen actors in shows and liked them, then watched them in shows with a terrible plot/script and disliked the same actor. Most actors are just ok (noted mostly for being attractive), very few have the skill to really shape the work.

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon was good, so had hoped this show would be as well. Unfortunately it lacked the same charm.

fair enough. for me the writer is more important than the cast. a great writer can make ok actors shine, a bad writer dooms everyone. kim eun sook has churned out some great scripts, so fingers crossed.

considering all of her recent teenager roles… yeah. so many shows go for the stereotypical roles: chabeol heir, idol, king/queen, etc. as if their lives are meaningless otherwise.

Shrug, it’s pretty normal for the rich to have kids with one wife, then get divorced 10-20 years later and have a new round of kids with a younger wife.

social media amplifies the voice of the few.

there’s always someone who doesn’t like something, a few people complaining isn’t all Arab people.

why take it down? why interpret one character in one story as an affront to an entire culture? the rich do what they want behind closed doors in any culture, anyway.
