you're right, she communicated that just needed a friend he got it and said he would comply yet still went around and make himself clear that he just doesn't want to be a friend. that's from him denying his feelings all this time so he just can't anymore but she is still denying and coming from almost marrying her ex i'll expect her to try to be more careful. so she does communicate but i still think she is not being clear enough as i said sometimes what she does and say is contradictory so it's confusing.

and yes i don't think she is that type of person either like she genuinely asked him as a PD because she needed to do her work but i think it's fair to say that it's not a good look especially since she knows or at least should know how he is and acts when it comes to her and the things that revolve around her, since they are friends yknow.
so i changed my POV and if i instead of saying she's using him it's rather more so that he was letting her use him, but he will still find some of these requests unfair, more so now that he is open about where he stands and his feelings plus i dont think he's a bad guy and that was clear when he told jiyeon that he didn't want to play with her feelings for her even when she practically begged him to lol

it's because she leaves room for the ml to think all of that, she's not communicating well which is creating issues. she should be more clear about it because there's times where what she does and says doesn't match
