another special by the director of Socialization - Understanding of Dance and i just love her style! the story was a bit lacking in some places but the music, production and charming male lead w/ere enough for me to finish this special. 7/10

I watched this drama for the first time as it was airing in 2017 and i loved it completely. now, nearly 4 years later i came back to it thinking to myself "i'll watch one or two episodes. i will only ff to my favourite scenes. also i wonder if i'll still like this drama as much as i did?" Two episodes turned into full rewatch with almost no skipping. I suspect i loved this drama even more on this rewatch. If 2017 me thought this drama was feeling fresh and realistic and wanted to rate it 10/10, the 2021 me wishes she could rate it 20/10 because the amount of healing energy it gave me is unparalleled. the tears were again shed and my heart is full.
Perhaps... see you in another 4 years? By that time i'll be 30, i wonder how will i feel during that rewatch, watching these 30-year-olds bumping around their life for the first time. will i love this drama just as much as i did for the first and second time? hopefully i will :) ♥

it's happy ending for main leads in the novel :) the special chapter is about story of one of the side characters. which is sad but also kinda happy thanks to this bonus chapter. i dont want to say too much so people dont get accidentally spoiled if they click on this comment haha

for me it's the story pacing! so far, the story has been relatively easy to follow and the pace was just satisfying??? i also dont watch much cdramas or costume dramas but this story just feels like a very well done wuxia drama - it has most of the things i expected from this genre also, main characters are both morally gray rather than the purely good guys vs baddies so i enjoy the characterization as well. and i really like some of the side characters
