Title Sector 7 Spoiler
The story is all but incoherent, providing no character motivation for what is supposed to be going on, or credible set-up on why these people are actually there. The monster seems to be a visual without any real thought on what it was or what it could do, and is as contradictory as the writing is bad. At one point the cracking makes you think crustacean, but like the film it's a mess. The acting is, too a man/woman, laughably bad - Ha Ji-Won's action posing is hilarious. The effects are often cartoonish - particularly anything with the bikes. I did wonder if it had been rushed out without proper post-production? And it's pretty sad given South Korea has, IMO, given us one of the best monster films in recent years with The Host. Sector 7 is easily one of the worst.

I've seen around 400+ films this year. Sector 7 is sitting comfortably in the bottom 10. I was terribly disappointed.
