Title I Belonged to Your World Spoiler
Grandfather paradox.

There are some subtle differences between the book and the show, the main one being Xu Zhao Yang. In the original timeline in both the book and the show, he's a sadistic and cruel person. But in the current timeline of the book, unlike the show, he has no redemption arc. He's just as cruel, obsessed and evil under the facade of brilliance. The son effectively cuts him out of his mum's life by tearing up his facade.

Also, Xiao's development is much more sensible and logical in the book and basically Shuo and his dynamic forges him into a person who would watch over Yue for a lifetime.

In the book, Shuo mentions to Yue something along the lines of, "don't feel the burden of my erasure because I am the product of an evil that should not have existed in the first place. I have accepted my fate. I am here to change yours." It's more emotional from early on. Unlike the show where's it's more comedic because of the rom com aspect.

So Shuo's sacrifice in the end felt more meaningful in the book compared to the show. And did not hit like a truck. As the readers have already been prepared for it.

It's a revenge drama from start to finish, also the journey of the protagonist. Romance is just a part of many…
I'd say pretty good. Specially the dynamic between the ML and one of the main villains.

I hate this site so much, when a drama gets high ratings all this hate acc show up talking about the show getting…
You should learn to appreciate various takes on things because, not everyone's going to like the same thing. Otherwise we would be robots, not humans. One scene might seem pretty good to you while lame or childish to another. That is how it is. I like this show so far, doesn't mean I expect everyone else to hold my opinion.

But of course, if you come across someone who is hating on some moment because of the lamest of reason then you can explain the scene and be done with it. For example, someone watching by skipping scenes and then complain about not getting the context, so on and so forth.

There are also people who just thrive in chaos so they just joined the "popular because of the kiss scenes" bandwagon without even watching the drama. Better to ignore them.

In the book, he runs medical experiments on patients who are on the brink of death. The killer thinks that he is doing research, and the lives of 222 people are nothing compared to his research which would save millions, a miracle cure sort of. And many people sought him out, knowing that it could either be a hit or miss, hoping for a miracle cure. That's the modus operandi, giving desperate people hope. Death=experiment failed.

I can tell you that if they can adapt the book properly, you will be reeling when it ends with a dilemma. Moral one.

Any romance? It's not in the tags.
It's a historical epic/political drama based on a famous figure, King Qian Chu of Wuyue from the Song era. He had several wives and consorts and like two dozen kids. In the cast and trailer, only his first wife, Sun Tai Zhen, is there. So Don't think there is romance, even if there is, should be minimal. I don't think history recorded his romance much.

I am still hoping for Season 2. 40 episodes are not enough.
What would the season 2 be about ? The lead set out for something and he accomplished it. That chapter is closed. Could be a prequel or a spinoff.

I'm quite hesitant to start this since it's not romance centered drama. Is this like Joy of life wherein it's…
It's a revenge drama from start to finish, also the journey of the protagonist. Romance is just a part of many other things here, plays a small role but it is vital as well.

Not much
Sure. They don't have a lot of screentime together but their connection is vital to the plot. The best chemistry is between the lead and one of the main villains, Marquis/Duke Ping Jin.

Its drama has very bad and fake story, it story from islam but it represent the fake story and hide the real story…
I don't think the drama mentioned anywhere that it was real. It's fantasy bruh. Granted, they should not have used the name 'Iblis' and most of the backlash would not be there.

It's cultural, like in those scenes where they serve alcohol to each other and the glass overflows, or the person…
It is really not. Supposed I have a small circle, and I am the only one who does not drink. Why in the name of all the dogs and gods would I join them for drinks at a bar or something ? Tf am I to do at a bar or a drinking place where the atmosphere is all about alcohol and loud noises ? And my buddies would know better to ask me out for such places.

Title The First Frost Spoiler
I would lose all respect for a man that let me treat him that way and then came crawling back as soon as I called.…
I guess you completely ignored the trauma and she always running from her problems + a misguided thought of protecting Sang Yan by distancing herself ha. After Hong Kong, she completely trusted the ML. With a mum like hers, it is completely understandable.

That's also why Sang Yan is special, didn't give up. Made sure to uproot every single obstacle in her route to a normal life. A lot of people would have given up ages ago.

I am at ep 11. I do not like the FL. She is so stupid. She thinks he does not like her and even thinks he is gay.…
Stupid ? Not even close. Severely traumatized and built a wall around herself ? Sure. What show are you watching ?
