Title Climax
mad series, but gotta praise the performances from the actors. Then again these are some high calibre celebs.

Nonsense show with plotholes enough to make Swiss cheese. But, it reminded me of the equally nonsense but fun Hollywood spy shows likes Chuck, Burn Notice etc. Intense chemistry between the main characters, including the leads, support, school kids even the cartoonish villains. That is why it's highly rated.

Glad you liked it. A refreshing romance drama after quite a while ..a change from the usual ceo slop.

Title In Your Radiant Season Spoiler
Yes
Something does happen to the grandma and there is somewhat of a white truck of doom hitting something but ..they get resolved lol. There is a death but that is on the first episode.

I suppose it would have been better if it was 16 episodes, but then again they would need to fill the excess time with nonsense, which this drama managed to avoid and always stayed to the point without wandering off.

Perhaps, 12 episodes with 1hr 20min each like Our Unwritten Seoul would have been better. Enough with my nitpicking ass. I loved the drama so who cares.

P.S.: Chae Jong Hyeop is in a competition with himself for green flag roles ha.

So many mixed reviews. Leads have chemistry, they don’t have chemistry? You love it, it wasn’t that great.…
Pretty good so far. Not a total melodrama, has a lot of positivity. The Chemistry between the leads is unlike any conventional romance because both the leads are deeply damaged souls who also are not on a destructive path. You have the second couple for the conventional one.

the screenwriter and the director fucking love Love triangles i don't have much hope for this show
You will hardly find any rom com without some elements of a triangle these days. However, it's Hyung sik in a comedy so his personality is gonna overwhelm anything else in the show. As long as the writing is not as crap as Heartbeat.

Title Climax
I was doomscrolling the other day and came across a random Climax clip. Mostly good comments though one hater there with various expletives regarding Ha Ji won and her showing skin and what not, you know, targeted stuff an anti fan would say. I am not the type to comment crap on any celeb but I got curious. That commentator wasn't even Korean or any type of eastern asian really. I wonder, how does one lose themselves in such delulu ? Could murdering kimchi all day , buying overpriced imported soju and talking shite online make one an honorary Korean netizen ?

last ep sucked lolI get why people liked this, it has a very kdrama-ey plot that works (and could be a bit nostalgic),…
Makes you wonder, that people have different tases.

For the life of me, I CANNOT understand these people, don't they have their own life (school, job, boyfriend/girlfriend,…
I was about to write the same thing, starting with exactly what you wrote.."for the life of me I can't understand..." then i saw this. You speak my mind.

That's rabid people on the internet for ya. Like who cares what kinda earrings she wears ? bruh
You can google the story, it's weird and crazy. The actress is quite young, like 18 now. When she was 17, she was seen on a social media post wearing very expensive earrings, and the netizens went crazy, how can such a young person afford such expensive stuff. Then she said, her mum gave it to her. Then the netizens went crazier, how can her family afford such things ? Her dad is a civil servant, is he corrupt ? He claimed those were not real. That hoopla held up the drama. After much ado about nothing which dragged the authorities to investigate, it turns out that the earrings were indeed imitations of a brand and were cheap.

You can see the hateful comments on reddit or wherever. Spoiled brat, show off this or that. I normally don't pay attention to these things but I accidentally stumbled upon it. The fandom are insane. It was just a fucking selfie lol

It was a while since I liked a Korean romance drama. So many of them disappointed me recently. This one was good…
The director(s) have a very good track record, plus the writer is decent too. Her last work was back in 2018 which was decent too. Most of the time, it boils down to the showrunners.

Sweet drama. That's all I can say about it. It kinda felt like, the showrunners totally gave up towards the last few episodes. The writer and director somehow ran away and the producers out of panic, hired the nearby bench bum and a tteokbokki seller to run the show.

hi does any of u have recs for drama like this? mature leads, both single (never married that kind of thing)?…
This is a very realistic and western style rom com, which is kinda refreshing from all the generic CEO slop that Korea blurts out every year. I can recommend her Private Life or Mad for each other. Mature romance, former is fluffy while the latter is comedy with some heavy aspects.

Title Shine on Me
Huh? She was 20-21 when he first fell for her, while he was 26-27...they start dating when she is 22 and he is…
Woman ? Diomedes..google it. What does NRTA have to do with Euphoria or Netflix ? That's a Chinese entity.

Story of Kunning palace or any other reincarnation dramas, are shown as imagination of novel writers. Never direct time travels, never depicting direct reincarnations, transmigration so on and so forth. That was never bypassed, never will be. Because of the laws, they had to make two different dramas..One and only ...and Forever and Ever even though it's just one book.

Aside from the propaganda dramas that you have mentioned, Chinese dramas or movies don't usually directly show a whole government entity as corrupt or doing something outside of the law, and getting away with it. For example, Fireworks of my heart. The whole concept of military abuse was taken out from the novel translating to the screen.

Elected officials ? Why the fuck are you mixing up western and Chinese governments ? Who said anything about western policies here ? Your brain is fried dawg..

My point remains, you should see a specialist. You got issues.

He's the epitome of limited and bad acting .I agree with the dubbing issue but some Chinese actors are very good…
The only common elements between Kunning Palace vs Princess Royal, is death, fantasy life restart, getting second chance to fix crap and political shenanigans. But the former is a vastly superior show with dark romance and fragments of reverse harem. The biggest draw being, the ML, think of him as Mei Changsu from Nirvana but much darker. Give it a go on a lazy day.
