I wouldn't say toxic but very realist. He had all the right ideas but the wrong execution, at least when it came to the FL. Well, he realized that later anyway.

Let me give you an overview, it could help. It is a bit different as in, there are the leads, then there are all other supporting characters. There is no traditional SML or SFL. But all the supporting characters have a lot of screen time. You can spend the first 10 or so episodes to get to know them as all of them are connected, and then you can FF their personal scenes without losing much.
