I think people who are specifically watching it for romance, some of them might get disappointed because it's not the typical drama romance. She felt guilt, regret and many things but never once crossed the line.

Pretty good crime show with a very sweet romance. It's not steamy but quite tender, reminds me of Forever and Ever. Just keep in mind that it's not your typical linear romance, and quite complex.

Not necessarily. You can see it as, a portion of real life heroes like honest hardworking cops, front line workers like firefighters docs nurses etc often have troubled personal lives. It's a choice they have made, a sacrifice they fully are aware of. SML made a choice. I did feel bad for the guy, but I can't really hate his ex. She felt guilty for believing his lies which she did not have to whatsoever.

Yeah you have not watched past first couple of episodes. The evolution of their characters are profound. And the male lead, no, he is not a pushover at all, quite the opposite. Borderline crazy and ruthless, in a good way, he is just quiet on the outside.

Again, you can like or dislike a show based on first couple of episode but that doesn't make your character classification accurate at all.

The Mentalist is an American crime/cop series. It's a classic.

It depends. If you like crime shows with complicated leads, romance and villains, you might like it.

How many episodes have you watched ? The second lead is not a loser so, I am guessing you are still at a very early point of the show. Also the hero is not your typical green flag. He has layers, all 3 of them have deep layers. Mentalist comparison is not for the female lead, but the general premise and villain.

Oh and she has electrifying chemistry with the male lead. Just not from the start. Patience mate.

You should watch the show fully to get those answers. Why she could not. Revelations happen gradually. Again, she never crossed the line so, behaving disgusting is not really fitting here bruv.

I don't think switching the roles from female to male would make much of a difference.

What is she should be guilty about that she can be played on it ? FL isn't written that weak.

Well, that is what makes her a human. A flaw. She is still falling for the ML, while getting over a relationship which lasted for her since her childhood until adulthood, which also ended badly, in mystery. She was willing to forgive the SML even when she caught him with another lady and spending jailtime. The she finds out it was all a sacrifice for the greater good. Getting over such a relationship, yea. And yet, she never crossed the line despite faltering, and chose the ML despite everything that was going on for her, because his love was much stronger at that point. This is raw realistic stuff. And I am sure ML understood too. Her walking on thin ice.

It picks up episode 7-8 onwards, and gets more interesting. The triangle is handled very maturely. It is nothing like Love me if you dare, more like The Mentalist. Very western flavour to it.

This isn't a conventional love triangle that you usually see on rom coms or romance dramas, if you can even call it that. Much more complex. The things that the leads, particularly the FL went through, people need therapy to get over that.

The dynamic between the leads, cinematography in the nature, OST and the antihero nature of the ML..I liked. Rest sucked.

It's a 16 episoder so ..I doubt they would spoil that now.
