For what it is worth, IMHO best romance dramas so far in 2026 are:1. Love Story in the 1970's: SML is a suitor…
2026 had been so far underwhelming for the k- romance genre. I somehow endured Boyfriend on demand and Spring Fever. Okay shows.
Love Between Lines blew everything else out of the water, like how genuine and sincere the feelings were between the leads and how flawless the writing was, even though the plot is quite simple. Shine on Me was pretty good too. So many pretty people in that one, including the parents. Love story in the 1970s, surprised me. Pretty good. Cdrama is on a roll.
You gotta wonder when China is producing better content with their 500 different censor laws.
i like how people absolutely dislike it when you call out an actor BUT it's apparently totally acceptable if you…
Actors act out the scenes from the screenwriters. So unless the actors really suck, calling them out has no point. Unlike directors or writers. They deserve to be called out, specially when an episodic show goes south. Within limits ofc, nothing overboard is good.
So many wrong statements in one paragraph, nice. I do agree, Love's Ambition was weird. But they had pretty good…
Well, that's just your opinion. These both dramas were widely popular in terms of viewership and ratings hence, the awards. They weren't the best, but were very popular.
The state of cdramas now is just sad. Both of cdramas above were not good but had popular actors and that's about…
So many wrong statements in one paragraph, nice. I do agree, Love's Ambition was weird. But they had pretty good chemistry and Lusi had probably the best wardrobe and one of the best performances of her career there. Legend of Zang Hai was awesome, except for the rushed ending.
It's a cute lighthearted series with a positive message. 10 episodes so binge it on a weekend night. Idk about Kpop, nor have I watched Jisoo in anything before. She was alright in it, as good as an actress can be in a rom com.. as the comments are polarized because of her high profile status.
They are pretty much following the "Life as we know it" route. I for one... am not surprised and since I saw this coming, not that annoyed as most others are lol. Besides, i liked that movie as a teenager.
The problem here is stretching that concept to 12 episode, which ended up giving more screentime to the second lead. It is of course easier to work with adults than babies, as much as I wanted more toddler screentime. In the movie, Josh Duhamel has double the screentime compared to Josh Lucas.
i really don't understand why the ratings are so low, i believe that this was a very good watch
It's an average drama with some nonsense here and there but fun. The ratings took a hit mostly because of religious and cultural appropriation I guess, which I personally don't care about.
