I had zero expectations from writing so Im not disappointed as others(mostly HMH fans). I dont think I wasted my time because I liked what went between leads. Yet I skipped a lot in between chaotic family matters between beautiful sisters. They didnt provide me with their character details or story from start, there were only sudden start from scheming so I couldnt give a demn about them. After ep20+/- sisterhood scenes started growing on me with each progress they made with family bond. I liked the short side story of blind sister (missed the actress!) and her partner scholar(also missed watching him).Could have been so different :') what a shame... I find Gülnazar very beautiful and this writing was enough to showcase her acting capability. I also like HMH enough to check every drama he is in.Their chemistry with each other and with their own characters were up to my liking. The gender role reversal was fun dynamic to watch but since writing wasnt focusing on emotional line of leads I cant say it was that good. It felt like some fanfics I came upon o internet with females being able to do whatever males usually do and vice versa.The only difference between this drama and those fics were males couldnt get pregnant in place of females... Im glad gender role reversal wasnt on fantastic level tho hahah XD As all Yu Zheng drama this drama also had gorgeous costume details, embroiders, flowers, filming sets. Watching feels like as if you are visiting a museum of their culture & arts in a way. Its just beautiful. Emotional/romance line was never the focus of drama so there isnt any scene that touched my heart to make me want to rewatch this... ps. Watching veteran actress Liu Xue Hua as grandma of all those sisters was a plus! She looks amazing in costumes my eyes are blessed.
This drama script has a very Jdorama vibe to it and acting from both leads can support such vibe so I liked it a lot. I hope we can see more modern CDramas in future. Although writing could have been better at some parts for example focusing on female lead's emotional line more. But if that happened that would bring this drama a whole next level good so Im not that disappointed I didnt thought it would be that good anyway lol xD My level for modern cdramas really low in recent years.
Watching 5-7eps right now. lts so nice to watch gender role reverse scenes like picking a husband for her family name, family job while also finding a lifelong partner for herself. Many good looking guys in GORGEOUS COSTUMES! All has their own points to shine *-* Personally I would pick slightly bigger build guy with more masculine looks, character with silent and simple personality yet he can be straightforward to the point if he is done with others XD I really have such soft spot for guys like that *le sigh Its kinda funny how all are trying to impress in waste cause none of them are leads... Maybe they can catch eyes of sisters tho...
I was surprised and angry about how unfair channel was because there wasnt much promo for this.Also the way they aired it so fast 'just like that' ... But then I binge watched, I can see why. SO MUCH MONEY went into this project both for costumes, world build CGI edits, casting great people. BUT why writing is this way.. why execute the story this way...tsk tsk Past is present & present is past cause of the FCKING TIME LOOP effect.Im not much into time loop dramas because I believe writer has to have a very strong pen to write such a story to make it emotional, rational/explainable at times and heartfelt... Which hardly ever happens in asian dramas TT (Im not jaded but saying this after being in dramaland for 13 +years...) I was able to complete this drama because 1. Im fan of both lead casting its worth seeing them longer on my screen even if Im displeased by drama. 2.It was complete so binge watching helps a lot with dramas like these. I had many known and liked faces in secondary characters. Like Wang Sen , Dai Xu, Wang Duo & Hu Wei YET I was like a blanks state while they were portraying their characters without a background. Sometimes one of them stops and tells what happened in short sentences and what? I have to feel for them or any of them? SHOW ME DONT TELL ME WRITER/PRODUCERS.I will know what to feel or when to feel it. It was like they wanted to create an emotional soft slow burn romance between leads yet they also wanted it to be comedic silly with lotssss of side characters, dramatic plot. Leads wasnt even there enough to tell their story. Plot bits wasnt woven close enough to feel impact of big fights between groups or deaths of some of them...Its like a summary of it if it makes sense... Im talking so much about a drama I didnt even liked much because of the frustration Im feeling. I was biased, I thought this would be much better for any of my bias in casting for months waiting for this...

I used to wait for updates of that book it was raw and all. Right now its completely translated even will made into drama... Its a lot less bloody and loosely written and yes there are many stories like this but I cant help myself. I wish I had chance to sit and talk with her about this matter(in my dreams lol)

Im just around the part where there is a family relationship created between female lead's father & the young poor girl... she preggo while lead girl jokes if she calls her step ma will she dare to accept... my appetite is ruined and its extra disappointing because father role is portrayed by a veteran actor Ni Ha Dong.

Gurl Im overwhelmed by that part while bingewatching and thought it was bad but then right now Im around part where write wrote a relationship/loveline/creating family for female lead's father & that young poor girl!!! Something is going on with her stylist and its bad. How on earth they manage to make such a beautiful lady look like that in last appearances...I follow her since f(x) debut days and Ive never seen that level of bad styling on her... like ever wow
Does anyone watching can help me to understand if this is similar to real life forensic file + police investigation documentaries? Im into these kinda documentary/shows plus its LYX leading it. If yes I want to invest watching it but Im being pretty careful because sometimes dramas can turn into a joke in this genre after 2-3eps.

And I also liked world build details filming set etr. But after 12?13? eps skinships started without writing supporting those moments... After many of those random kissing making out moments I lost interest female lead also turned into most female leads once love line started...
