I didnt had much expectations (better be careful with Kdramas in recent years) but still got dissapointed. Its kind of sad leads were wasted on such script actually. BUT this is only how I felt for that serie & my opinion is quite unpopular If you check drama's page :) I just dont get the hype of it. These days everyone gives 10 to any drama in mydramalist like ?!?!

No they are both alive & meet each other after long years. But there isnt a hug or kiss as some couples. Even ending is just like them ,they got more mature after that last trials they went through :') In original white snake tale their ending is quite tragic so Im glad they soften up with this version. They truly deserved this kind of ending you know? I mean both are such good characters always wanting to help others whenever they can while they enjoy quiet time together just walking and reading,learning healing at times. They are like those old long married couples actually xD hahah This drama is more of a calm & monotone watch esp when you are in the mood you might end up want to rewatch like many fans including me.
Where Alen Fang at? Lol I try so hard to find his sence but none lol
hahahah xD His short role here was so very funny to me now that I remember it! Lead girl can change her appearance when she needs to. Allen plays a prince but never really appear until some point. She couldnt go check on her lover as herself so she changes and looks like Alen XD Lead guy was quite shy and introvert when she(as Alen/prince) acted so caring for him cause lead guy didnt even knew him personally XD
They are both scholar-ly, elegant & calm headed people so is their love story. They are one of a kind in costume dramas in general.I still didnt come upon any pairing like them yet, sadly...

That was one of a kind with such interesting lead character dynamic! Never seen anyone like that before or after (BUT) Im not really into that genre so that might be the reason why I didnt see it too ^^. You are very much welcome by the way.
Some thinks he can disappear or the way his son bought him back can create some butterfly effect on future or some time travel problems can occur etr BUT some just accepts the last seconds and stop thinking about it after saying its happy ending...
Very unique yet classic Shrek's Fiona plot with fit casting especially for lead girl both young & older. I cant wait to try this *-* Ive missed watching & enjoying Jung Eun Ji's acting! Been rewatching her in Reply & Winter Blows drama for years...
Another year another rewatch... This turned something like ISWAK & TKA for me. like a classic, safest place when I just want to forget real life worries for a while.
I felt so bad for waiting such a long time to watch this when I finished first 2 episode at once! I was scared of drama ruining itself after a while but it didnt because it was mostly about both leads, esp lead girl Bora<3. Its a shame writer couldnt do better with other 3 side couples which wasted so much time from original story & lead characters. All those 3 couples were just a waste imo they started awkward, middle part of their story were also not worthy and weird, ending of their stories also didnt felt worthy of wasting my time on it. I thought this drama was another classic '16 eps Kdrama' BUT when I realize I only had 2 last episodes to binge watch, I felt so much frustration & anger towards screen writer. Because both leads deserved a lot better than this rushed last 2 episodes!! Why not focus on complex character of lead guy in last couple of episodes so both Bora and u can see where he was coming from better....JUST WHY? WHY NOT FFS! Im so angry right now because I couldnt find a lead couple & lead casting this good together for last year from any Kdramas Ive watched... I was going to give 9 out of 10 in the end even when we waste so much screen time on useless 3 side couples BUT those rushed 2 last episode made me wayyyy to frustrated and angry. Now I can only give 7 and that number ıs only for lead girl character being so unique, leads having a lovely progress in their relationship while they get closure from their old relationships & both leads acting was so good,nautral.. There wasnt even any reason not to focus on leads anyway just why....
I cant wait to watch her portraying such a character & hope her partner will be someone worthy with lovely chemistry in between them. I also hope that lead guy's character will be on softer side instead of being one of cliche jerklead guys... I just have a soft spot when a strong willed female character partnering up with a attentive devoted male lead :')
