I always check costume drama updates for sure because I always need more of them but after watching trailer I end up checking up lead actress' works! Looks like her acting is one of the natural -easy going type where you dont feel the cringe or awkward even when script is xD

I have never ever watched a more entertaining female member in any Kshow before her... its a shame she decided to leave.. but I could see that she was feeling done with that part of her life in most episodes in latter parts.. so I can also understand her too :') I just cant help but feel selfish thats why Im still bitter.

I can only hope they changed whole a lot of this novel. I dont understand why would any producer in their right mind pick this literally sick sadistic novel to make into a drama instead of picking another more of a healthy one. I know fiction is a fiction but IF you read it carefully you will see how author tries so hard find no fault in male lead's actions from first chapter to very last chapter. Even wrote so many details on female leads inner thoughts how she always blamed herself in the end of every sadistic move he made towards her...

I decided to read it after seeing it was getting closer to airing Im very excited to have a costume drama where LXY is the male lead while I also prefer&like watching WJY in costume settings. BUT after ending up binge reading whole thing for a day, it only made me feel more sick near the end cause the progress in him never came instead she lost more & more, there were random and abrupt other love-lines between other characters just for the sake of last chaps & drama which was another disappointment...
After some first chapters I was thinking of some other sadistic novels yet by the end I realize this was the most sadomasochism CNovel Ive ever end up reading/came upon across...

I hope they change whole a lot of the novel especially the character of male lead! Right from start author made it known how she/he looks easy on rap*ng, making plans of murdering lead girl so easy just like a game of boredoom for lead guy. It was so fcking disturbing to read for first half.There were times his inner thoughts were known to us readers & it only made me dislike him more and more as chapters go. The way author was so sadistic made me very uncomfortable that I end up dropping novel.
I HOPE they can change it for better because I sincerely like watching LXY in costume dramas.

Verrrry dull,monotone? bland writing esp in the matter of feelings between lead characters..

I dont know how it happened but my greatest joy from watching 'Are you the One' is
1. Seeing Wang ChuRan in gorgeous costumes
2. watching/finding this actor!
I really liked his character there and didnt skip 1 moment of it. I wished he had longer screen time...His way of portraying was so natural and easy going too!
After watching him & ZWY taking photos with fans in a cafe while eating also made me like him more! The way he was giggling and couldnt stop laughing while taking photos ;A;
ps. He looks so good with that lil pony tail he had in that vid!

There will be always that kind of people no matter what actors or series try so dont worry about them, let it go.. Lets just wait happily with others who also enjoy same things we do instead :)
Anyone who has watched Doctors would know how natural & believable she is with grey characters (even if it was in very few first eps her character was like that there)
Im actually glad she took this role BUT I have to say Im not happy with concept of her clothing/wardrobe... Way too much sweet pink tones & very light paris hilton styles... I kinda wish it was more of a cool & sharper styles of suits or unique clothing instead.

Just started watching it while eating my meals or crocheting a doily but want something in background. The humor is so very simple & silly actually more like stupid XD BUT it makes me watch it. Its also kinda natural and it feels like old times 90s' humor sense on tv shows/skits you know? Its quite fun to watch at background if you want something easy going and silly!

I hope to see Bu Guan Jin(lead actress) in more costume series she looks even more adorable than modern dramas<3 Plus her accent & the way she used her real voice in this drama was so addicting for me.
It was also my first time to watch Ma Tianyu with his real voice in costume drama & his acting feels a lot better with his own voice than a dubbing one...

I want to recommend you <2016 The Classic of Mountains and Seas> then! It was one of my very first costume Cdrama yet I still remember the effect it had on me when I finished it.
You might be a lil disappointed in lead actress's acting but the story as whole, the lead group of characters' progress as episodes go was worthy of watch.

Same. Especially in recent years like 5+, whenever a drama gets so popular here & has a 'fanatics' like fan group, I end up disliking it when I check it...

Cant help my daydreaming about lead pairings for C costume dramas lately & I realized I really want to see her & Deng Wei as leads in a costume serie with a good script! What a dream ;_; even if I got this wish Im afraid the script will fail me or their talent...

oh boy IF ONLY China made those XianXia & Wuxia dramas together with Korea... he would be even better looking than this with their costume & wigs ToT

I only checked a few eps for fun while eating my food and I like how comedic their relationship feels for now. I cant wait to watch ''slowly falling for her'' to ''fell for her now Im scared of her discovering truth'' to '' her taking revenge on him after learning truth'' <3
BUT who the heck is styling/make up team for this?! They paint faces way too white when lead actor doesnt need it! He looks like a chinese opera character at most times, his eyes quite red on ends and mimics are stiff... I know he can act and he has a healthy wheat to bronze-ish tone of skin... WHY DO THAT TO HIM?!

I had many complaints while watching this for first time but than this sheet is addicting?! xD Many unique characters where casting choices fit the characters for real & it also has really lovely soundtrack with pretty costumes, lovely world build/filming sets<3
AND THAT OST ALBUM! Unforgettable?! yes it is. When I press play button and start hearing soundtrack at back, I feel chills and remember the lyrics even tho I dont understand a thing. its that good.
Right now Im in a costume drama need, cant even complete new ones so Im rewatching for 3rd time!

they lost me at 'meeting from childhood traumatic days' scene in trailer...
