In my opinion you shouldnt try so hard If it isnt there it wont be even more when you try that hard xD For me I knew Ao Rui Peng from some modern dramas before BUT the drama made me fan of him was 'A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College' Yes he wasnt lead guy there but not second lead guy either. He was like best guy frıend of lead girl played by Zhao Lusi. They had this sister & brother playful banter kind of relationship there whenever they had scenes together :D It was so muıch fun to watch I actually look forward to those scenes a lot while watching new episodes! And I also checked behind the scenes videos of those scenes it was even more funny and adorable. He kind of become one of my new faves after that drama<3 I was actually hoping to see him with my bae Lulu & Lusi in future but never thought I would get my wish so fast XD I was like ''?!'' serıously when I read the first melon account for this drama... If you have time I really liked it as a whole costume serie. Lead couple's writing was awesome also they had chemistry (in my opinion at least..) Only last 3-4 eps were a little different than previous eps but still worth to watch & rewatch.

awwww <3 It doesnt really suck BUT they ruined quite a lot by not showing our couple for longer than 1 mınute in the end :'( Its a shame their characters deserved at least 10-15 mınutes of sweetness in the end! Also in the middle of drama they cut way too much episodes where her family stuff happened... its a shame.. Still love them a lot tho :')

Yeah I agree on that last part you wrote! Whenever a costume serie cant decide on what to do with ending so they create 2 endings and release 'happy ending' later on as special OR just add extra 3-5 mınute in the end with absurd magical happy ending... I HATE THAT THE MOST! Just do bad ending or tragedy ın the end or make it happy.BUT at least do 1 of them instead of playing around to make up with fans of the show and fans of the artists ughhh serıously
oh boy... been waiting to binge all eps while checking updates and cuts on internet... to see THE ENDING SPOILERS.... Im glad I know whats in it for me tho, a lot better than being disappointed later on.

Reading this part from your previous comment ' we go off the deep end looking for the fifth leg of the cat' sent me back in time XD there was a scene similar to this in novel between leads... but like 'literally' looking/trying to understand was is the 5th thing ... it was so demn awkward I dont suppose them to film such scenes cause of censorship I guess lol XD
