'Interesting to hear the side of the writer' I wanted to say that sincerely with believing it but which novel author OR any manhwa/manga authors says their dislikes for the drama remakes these days?....

Yeah I agree :/ Its really unique with artsy parts but when I watch a serie I want to feel connected with characters, details of their lives like past-present and future! I even want to be frustrated in their place while plot is happening so I couldnt really keep myself interested in this one while watching.
I will try another time if I can find chance from other series I didnt check yet...

Started because of amazed comments but gave up after a few episodes. I didnt drop it though, it felt more like a documentary and didnt show much depth on characters' feelings and inner thoughts as I wished so I will just wait until Im in the mood for this kind of drama first...

I think the person said that as LX as actor, not his character in the serie...

I wont start while its still running tho that would make me sick f waiting ! Gotta MT the novel while waiting...

Loved them in Starry Night whole a lot than leads! But they only had some minutes with so much chemistry and fun story<3
Im glad to see them pair up again I only wish it was a costume serie :'(

Finally had time and mood to start this one BUT it way too much business as if its real life. I can do business dramas well as long as acting is good and they can give me details on lead characters so I will feel for them, understand where they coming when they took action etr. YET I sadly end up dropping this after first 5 episodes. Its a shame I really do like lead casting but this much of episodes only made me feel sorry for people who work like these character in real life...

Yes I have *-* One of the best performance and character he had in costume serie is; The Legend of Dugu (2008) you will hate his character but will find it so charming too! His character there had an amazing progress also loveline :')
its been years but I still remember most details also rewatched he whole serie more than 2times. Drama itself is one of my fave costume series. His character's loveline is with one of the lead girl characters (oldest sister).

There is also ''Legend of the Phoenix''(2019) his character there stole my heart again! He has all the mimics with that character I was so in love with it while Ive been watching. Loved his chemistry with his partner there she was also very cute and proactive character I rooted for.
I loved first half of serie more than second half because palace scenes with weak manipulating emperor took so much time :c
Still worth to watch though especially couple scenes.

The Journey of Chong Zi was also start out well but end up as disappointment for me :c Might be different for you though so maybe you should check it some episodes first.

I dont really mind '' draggy plot '' IF I end p loving casting for lead couple also the characters they portray<3 I just enjoy the ride BUT
the excess fillers with side characters gets on my nerves :c

I also find his acting stiff with some characters especially when he play in modern series.That was the biggest reason l was surprised and felt like writing a comment right away xD

I know right?! There was definitely hints and chemistry in between as if they would follow the novel but couldnt cause its quite dirty to show as serıe with their tv rules and stuff.
I can only hope one day we can watch YM and XKC as leads in another costume serie. Their dynamic were really good while their characters were also good together! I needed so much more sassy scenes and comments from them but I got draggy scenes instead ;__;

I need mroe princess characters like hers in my dramaworld x'D she was such a proactive towards main guy once she was sure of her feelings even though he didnt even give any hint on having something with her, free spirit but not spoiled like most princesses out there. They were so so lovely just like in novel it warms my heart<3
Yes there were unnecessary plots about sister who lives in the house but that couple and chemistry made it worthy for me. I even loved the behind the scenes.

aww thank you *^* yes they are one of the cutest and unique costume serie couple ever! Its from 'Rebirth For You (2021)'.

note: It has many negative reviews on mydramalist though I never understand why. Its not even that bad and Ive never seen such a couple in costume serie before...
I just dont get high notes OR low scores on mydramalist x'D something i wrong with me...
