Dont look down on male actors who take this kind of roles? I mean there are many veteran & younger actors who take these roles its not even a bad thing?
Plus there are many things to consider before choosing a script (esp the actor/actress who made a name for themselves so they wont be controlled by company/agent while picking a script).
IF he doesnt have work conflict and likes the story, director even partner why not take it? I watched only few of series he acted in and they were more of a slice of life than light hearted romcoms imo. And this kind of story kind of fits the mood of his other series.
Personally I would love to watch him acting alongside with other 3 actresses listed there (I didnt even check if its official casting by the way) It would be joy to watch so many good actor in same scene with slice of life with romance genre<3

Ive read the machine translatıon of novel's synopsis. It soudns very similar to the story of 'Marvelous Women'. Lead girl will join a family and the lady of the house will see she has talent for embroidery,will teach her her family's art and details. Later on drama happens and lead girl will end up really famous with her talent in embroidery...

After binging on it First 10eps were so sweet I I thought lead guy's writing would get better. Well... IT DİDNT & got worse.
By ep 25 he lost all redeem qualities for me to ship them or like their scenes as couple. I only finished for lead girl and kids sake.

Whne I saw those I cant help but save all of it to post it here *-* Its worth sharing so adorable<3 I really liked easy going chemistry between them both in serie & behind the scenes videos.
Looks like they made live interview-meetings with fans. I never got to know it before that..That kınd of meetings are more famous now with recent serıes.
