First 5 eps were really good couldnt stop watching. But then writing or should i say focus lost itself with subplots and meaningless villain moves... Its been really long checking a Kdrama this kınd of used to happen ın last 5-6 eps ın past looks like it started happen earlier now lols

I know right?! Right from the very first scene with her, the way she slaps someone with a SKATE on jaw... She makes me sick. Nothing interesting and the way she force lead guy to take her frıend's love letter (re-written by her many tımes) and she goes all ballistic on him cause of her crazy ways when he rejects letters?!?!?!
I thought we were going to have a decent female character at least. IF she was a good& just written character I might had be ok with reverse harem but this is far from it :c so disappointing.
I didnt want to stop first 20 eps and binged it. It was crazy absurd funny I loved led girl character Dugu RN<3 Her chemistry with her stars were a lot more than her leading guy... Writing for her relatıonshıp with her co workers & stars was also very detailed and interesting.
Loveline was the weakest point of this drama. Screen writer definitely have some problem with creating trauma out of manupilating liar scheming people/characters. Around 20 to 30 it was frustrating because lead guy was sincerely unfair to Dugu yet she started to lose herself for this so called 'love' which we didnt get to feel it deeply BECAUSE of weak writing. I really wished for her to turn her real self from first half and end up alone but I know Cdramas hardly do that kind of ending :c sadly...
last 30 to 43 were even worse because Scheming manupilating villain sibling (sis and bro) got many screen time while lead guy was like a bottle in waves (villains) were shaking where they wanted him to go.While he promise to do better for Dugu he always failed to keep his promises. Also they start to show many lead guy business scenes which were related to villains' work. It turned even worthless for me.
Dugu Ruonan was one of the best unique crazy modern Cdrama characters Ive ever watched. I continued for her and her artists scenes. Even her female friend's writing sucked she never got the progress I hoped for just like lead guy... Its a whole shame I never got enough screen time for Dugu, her scenes with her artist and her past. They didnt even mention any family members.Writing was quite shallow in this manner needed help from other writers in my opinion maybe a writing team?. Characters were lıke people sent to mars and they never really talked or mentıon (except some short scenes)family members EVEN in important moments...
Anyway I didnt drop because I connected with Dugu on this level. Managed made me care for sied characters a lot more than lead guy character. Chemsitry wasnt that great and writing of couple progress DIDNT HELP AT ALL. He lost me ın second half, I was so turned off that I couldnt feel any sıngle joy from last ep's couple scenes.
PS: HE SUCKED CREATING DRESSES FOR DUGU. Im so glad he only had 2 changes for that not more ha what a joke.

I remember how cold I felt for all the guys because so many episodes were filmed with cold snowy weather x'D I got used to it so fast that I searched ' Qing dynasty' tag here to watch more of those series.
