I checked a few eps just because I was curious while waiting for it to complete.(Im a binge watcher) I couldnt feel interested in lead's scenes as a pairing/couple I also didnt felt any type of chemistry. BUT right now Im watching the interview vids from twitter and they has such a cute chemistry going on! wth :c gotta be the script then?! ughh

Started because of good comments and I had time to waste on it. Binged first 5 but it was hella bland and boring, I thought to myself 'it got so many nice comments so I should wait a lil bit more.It will probably pick up'' IT NEVER DID. It cont that way and I started fast forwardıng 3x speed watchıng.... waste of my tıme even though I skipped some parts.

Knowing how YuZheng can do amazing with female centered plot in ancient dramas like; Yanxi Palace & Marvelous Women, I was excited and hopeful.
BUT It was biggest disappointment I felt after watching it. Lead female character was just ... I dont have words.After first episode it was as if she was written by totally another person. Im so disappointed that Im actually sad and bitter x'D

She was pretty cute in modern drama Ode to Joy 1&2 but here styling of wig and costumes didnt help her at all.
My problem is her acting esp micro acting.She suppose to look shocked or surprised but she looks like she is disgusted.Or at times she overacting with screaming... I dont want to be mean but there is an acting gap between female & male lead casting so
those details were even more apparent than normal times...

Its been a while since I watched such a cringe worthy drama. These kınd of no depth ın wrıtıng but has many awkward moments dramas were somethıng famous around 2000-2010s I thınk... I fast forward a lot and watched main points because I wanted to see writing get better but it didnt. Because I like both leads in other dramas and was hopeful to see somethıng different& better from their acting, BUT I couldnt see it with this kınd of writing.
Im ın my early 30s and maybe this is a factor but I felt like IF I played in such script I would be embarrassed in a way? lol anyway...
Okay also why just why Im sincerely wondering why would producers produce such abrupt ruined endings for all those costume series? (most of them anyway) Like you waste so much and talent by casting cant you just give a worthy closure to the story and viewers?!

I started this because from modern Cdramas, female centric dramas are the first ones that makes me feel interested in them. Especıally when casting has veteran or older knowing actor/actresses like this one.
I didnt like the way they execute this story they never gave me details on any character LET ALONE lead ladies' characters... They just start story where ever they wanted from first ep and no flashbacks or whatsoever. The workplace was already enough serıous and monotone so when they show lead ladies scenes I couldnt help but feel bored and couldnt keep up well with any of them even tho there are my fave actresses!!
Characters felt 1D in a way there were romance scenes but didnt feel sincere enough for me esp for secondary couples.
I was especially interested in Wu JinYan & Hong Yao's scenes! Hong Yao was way too charmıng and handsome in this one oh how I wısh he had more roles esp lead ones :c he really deserves it! His character was unique and so much fun with his chewing gum XD BUT he was only there for 5 or so mınutes ın every 3 eps....
I fastforward soo much just to see their scenes in the end :C a shame with full of cast like this!

I dont mean is 'they look like each other' in a way like both has exact same features obvıously not! But u know the couples who got married OR live together for quite sometime, they start to has similarities on their faces. I dont know how to tell myself in english sorry for that...

I was so excited the day I heard she was back with romantic comedy :c There wasnt any synopsis around so I didnt know but got my expectations high... When I saw trailer before reading synopsis after sometime, its just way too cringe and awkward. I felt so weird for such a short video I cant imagine watching drama her touching backs of leads or any animal for that matter.
I wonder IF fans will dare to judge such vulgar thing when female does to male?! Because IF story was other way around male touching female lıke that I know what kind of comments I would see.
