There are some moments in Love in Clouds where he looks so much like young bro of Lee Jo-hoon! No wonder I feel so familiar when I first watch him before...
I also dont really like it BUT I cant wait to see Kim Se Jeong in a costume romance drama ;_; Plus her partner being Kang Tae Oh is a very nice detail is you ask me xD
I would prefer to look at couple scenes as GIFs and write my own version of story in my head than watching the drama. Sadly I already watched it and it took half of my joy when I first saw those gifs.. well... its not my first time getting disappointed in writings of costume dramas anyway... I will definitely follow lead guy Deng Xiaoci's costume dramas after this though.
Watching Tower of Whispers for him... He looks so beautiful and twistedly handsome if he wants to in those costumes. I cant imagine how good he would look in a better production /known drama IF he look this gorgeous in there... I felt similarity with his looks even though this was my first time watching him. Then I realize his visuals so similar %60 Wei ZheMing %40 Hu YiTian. No wonder I fall so easily for his looks xD kkk

Leaving at 25 with good feelings or I will dislike them and myself for cont to watching such a production.They really had much money to waste on useless side character and subplots with verrrrry draggy and slow at times filming. its a shame because there were really good, fun and memorable moments in eps 5 to 15...
Ive liked this kind of pairing with gender roles reversed plus the casting was such a fit for characters. YET there were so little focus on them while the cases he/them has to work were frcking boring which didnt add anything to the story or their story... Most eps went by like %10lead couple story there were even less focus in some eps I felt like a frog trying to jump next leaf far away in a dirty lake... I end up watching lots of stuff I aint no give .... about. Its not that I was only in for 'romance' BUT writing of side plots or characters felt so very bland & stiff for me.
its a shame it was filmed 60eps but cut down to 40eps! I really wish I had chance to watch lead couple's story as it was... The lead' first life was very interesting for me even if it was cliche in any romance plot. BUT Im almost sure they at least cute 3-4eps of it...It was so abrupt and dang suddenly it was second life :c
ps. There are parts I skipped with side characters BUT that opening song with those scenes I couldnt skip at all let it play with each episode <3 I loved ti so much that I searched details and wow its Liu Yuning again! He sounds quite different in drama's openings tho I dont know why.
I miss this couple in autumn season and not even once or twice... Its also because it was one of my very first Taiwanese dramas from long time ago. I dont know even soundtracks are still in my mind and I can find myself humming it. Writing wasnt the best yes but it has that unique fragrance of old dramas T^T
nahh there are many stories written well and heartfelt without much skin ship scenes. I dont really look for deep kiss scenes in asian dramas.
I actually dont like when there are so many (deep)kiss scenes between leads but writing is weak and disappointing. Those skinship scenes doesnt mean anything when progress & development of characters and story isnt there. Im kind of sad that lately netflix and minidramas adds so many casual skinship scenes without actual story...so shallow and meaningless all about lusting.
Its Bi Wen Jun so of course I had to check. I also want to look longer at this actress whenever I see her on screen but the scripts she picks doesnt really peak my interest for 10+eps le sigh... There was also veteran Gong BeiBi playing VILLAN mother for him this is my first time watchying her playing beach mother role IT HURTS T^T She acts so well its like she means whatever the character is doing/saying... There was even Liu Run Nan as such interesting friend character I wish he had more screen time but alas.. Writer wanted to create 'DEEP' emotional story with lead characters having serious traumas BUT writing was as shallow as webdramas... Usually I prefer straightforward, heroic spirited & bold female leads but this time I wanted to punch her in the face more than 3 times. This is new for me even if Ive seen many dramas tsk tsk it was really frustrating. PS. ep11-12 made me want to hit my heaed to the wall literally. This couldnt get any more random that that 'progress' IF you call that progress... Last ep's news made me even more angry.They should both get therapy before that... gee...
I felt exactly same when I watched this years ago and whenever I wanted to rewatch to just see more HeYu on my screen. Everytime I dropped it or just cont with 2xspeed where I cant really call that watching... Im glad to see your review here IF this was here when I watched it I would at least not get this frustrated or disappointed with what I got myself into...
