Tried but gave up because all lead characters felt like a The Sims characters whıch has looks and great clothes. I dont know how to tell those ınto words xD...

I watched all of them but only liked 'my father is strange'. Others were average i was angry with writing :C

I dont know whats wrong with me but whenever (mostly like %80 of time) a drama gets high points and lots of nice comments i couldnt even complete it...

I need some long Kdramas to binge and I wonder if anyone can let me know IF lead couple has loving, understanding and ship-able moments between them to make this serie worth watching?
I dont mınd makjang as long as a couple has good progress in between them also with their parents.

Its been a while i came upon such a sloppy writing progress and plot...
Didnt drop it until ep18 because lead couple's chemistry was quite fun to watch while they were being stupid together but serıously there isnt even enough couple scene to call this ''romance'' in my book.
The way they used this ge ge problem right until ep23 while girl going back and forth ın between was just simply tiring. Made me dislike the plot even more in second half...
I complete it because I already came this way and i have nothing to do.
I have to say lead actress's acting was really natural with such silly character made me think of Ariel Lin in ISWAK & TKA ;_; Makes it a lot easier to watch theır frustratıng slow characters lol

Script or should i say the way characters were written was awkward and silly on stupid level it was weird watchıng ıt BUT I completed it because Zhang Ya Qin is just so lovely its worth to waste my time XD
Plus the lead actor is also one of my 'liked' actors so it made it easier. These two and theır acting level deserves better writing :c

Acting was so good from lead stars and story had some very funny had to choke moments esp wıth famıly members BUT it felts bland and got draggy ın between 5-10 and I skıpped so much ın 11 that ı dropped it...

lol the way they trıed to explaın hıs girlfriend's realtıonshıp lıke a famıly tree rıght there XD hahaha its like those drama scenes; my father's aunt's son's sister...
I really liked the way he did portray both his characters amazing in 'When you be me' ! His cool & rebellious versus a shy-timid introvert girl at same time. It was so natural and real like i was amazed. Usually these kınd of roles can feel awkward and cringy if actor/actress overdid it..

Wow its been a long time i came upon a jerklead syndrome on a lead girl character. I gave up on it even though i really wanted to watch ZYW with this kind of plot...

Couldnt take any more than 2 episode because of the frustrating lead girl character. I just couldnt...

Its been so fckıng long that I finally felt the chemistry between bae Bai Lu & her partner since she played in The Legends with XK!

I was there for 2 chokıng moments from traıler and other than them it didnt worth my tıme. Good thing speed watchıng exist.

I dropped the serie after some eps even though i didnt know details. Later i saw the posts about the cat though :c thanks anyway.

I love re-watching this drama from time to time so much :') This couple/their characters and their scenes have this calm, mature and different from most other perıod serie couples. I dont know much english words to describe it but it goes so well with autumn season and rainy days *-* Plus the song they used at most parts helps the mood.
I saw some people were complaining about the last parts of serıe, the makjang plot bits but after reading the original folklore Im just glad they were able to reunite before he lost his life. Its just way too bitter and sad after all the trouble and shıt they got for just wantıng to be together in the folklore on wiki...

I was there for the lead actress and liked the easy going chemistry between lead couple BUT story was just not enough ınterestıng to keep up with because they didnt even had enough couple scenes untıl 15-16th eps... dropped it :c

Yeah i know that feeling from when im watchıng a Kdrama while its still on-going.
If I binge watch a serie im not as tolerant as im when its still airing . I think i will come back to this when i reallly miss watching LuSi *-* I was here for her but the vibe is a little too much to keep my interest with all those family members xD

I can see what you mean but for some of us 20 episodes arent just 'few' episodes time is precious and there is always more dramas to check on them.

Dramatic mother roles suit this actress so very well Im all willing to watch these frustrating characters cause of her acting xD so sincere and real! Also looks a little similar to my late grandma & her mother so i feel even more closer to her ;_;
