Is there any clarification from the production? As far as I see, this is only mentioned by the fans and not the production team (or whomever is in charge). This makes me think the translation is as it was intended it to be.

I was eager to watch this show and I've downloaded all episodes already. But I decided that it's not worth watching, after the controversy in the last episode. Because them making light of an ongoing g€n○cide (and telling the situation in a twisted way) and them standing behind their decision even after the backlash doesn't sit right with me.
