Can I just say that seeing Hao Ting and Xi Gu (Make our days count) at the ending part made me tear up?! That's the kind of ending id love for them to have. Xi Gu finally reaching his dreams and all his hard work paid off.
Rewatched it again and this time I noticed few details that i missed on the first time. (Spoiler Alert for those who haven't watched yet)
GUYS! This a Fan Theory only. Yu Xi Gu's death has something to do with Xiao Hao Ting's father. Deep inside he still doesn't want his son to be in a same-sex relationship thus he devised a plan to remove Yu Xi Gu, at first the 'accident' was not supposed to kill him but to only gravely injure Xi Gu then using that Hao Ting's Father will ask for him to break up with Hao Ting in exchange with the payment on the hospital expenses. We all know that Xi Gu won't want to bother his Aunt, having that burden he had no choice but to accept. However, the plan failed and Xi Gu died :(
See the last ep? It is evident that Hao Ting's father has a guilty conscience but also showed that he didnt really regret everything he had done since Hao Ting changed for the 'better'.
Does Hao Ting also suspects his father? Isnt his action on the last ep appears cold and fake towards his family?
