If Liu Xue Yi wasn't in this drama, I wouldn't be watching it. But if I was watching and knowing the character's…
Yes, LZS is very complex in the book, but I think if they detailed everything in the book, it would be 50 or 60 episodes, and they don't make dramas like that anymore. And there would be more clashes between him and Gu Jiu Si. The writer and director did the best they could with what they had. And I think so far, it's been great. I want to see how it ends.🥀🌷🥀🌷

I adore Liu Xue Yi. In fact, he is the reason I picked up this show. I love him in this role as a villain but…
"I am only eager for him to take on a lead role across from a female actress who is an equal match for his talent."
1- Hua Mei (Republican), with Peng Xiaoran, already filmed.
2-A moment but forever (fantasy/romance), with Tiffany Tang, will start filming in August. If you want him as the main male lead with great actresses, these are two.
🌷🌷🥀🥀
PS:
There is the drama "In Blossom" with Ju Jing Yi, which is a costume/detective/romance drama, finishing filming this current month. But I don't know if Ju Jing Yi is a great actress, she is famous, traffic and beautiful. But the drama will be good.📝📝
PS2:
I forgot to mention "What if", (modern drama), already filmed this year. And watching the trailer, I think the actress has dramatic weight.

If LZS wasn't played by Liu Xue Yi, would LZS sympathizers still root for him and condone his evil and insidious…
If Liu Xue Yi wasn't in this drama, I wouldn't be watching it. But if I was watching and knowing the character's roots (I understand the meaning and intention of the author of the book and the screenwriter), by the FACT OF KNOWING THE BOOK. However, since I'm watching the drama, and I like the actor, and I understand the character in the book, I have two reasons for not being ruthless with the character. 🌷🌷
And even because I am not approving any evil act and therefore I agree that his ending in the story will continue to be like the story in the book. 🌷🌷

And I think what makes his acting even better is that the voice is his original voice. With all the nuances expressed…
So it could be that Jiang He has much higher dreams than LZS and doesn't care a bit about family ties (much less his sister who helped him through her nephew Gu Jiu Si) and neither his son. And Luo Zi Shang still doesn't know (but I bet that will be for the end).
And Jiang He isn't as good-hearted as some think, with a few flaws, but overall on the right side.
