Zhou Ye. So someone revealed it here on my dramalist.
I don't know, as I've only read excerpts from the book selected by the book's readers. (I see that in Chinese dramas the main couple almost never become king and queen. I think that would make the drama not pass the inspections that clear the dramas to be broadcast. This is my assumption.

I don't know will happen. I would find it consistent with the profile of the character. On second thought: I think…
I think this character has to be like a mirror that reflects the inconstancy between one persona and another persona. (I think that's how it is in the book). I just don't know if the scriptwriter of the drama will be able to translate this representation from the book into the drama until the end.

I find hard to say that LZS love LYR, perhaps is more like admiration for LYR such a great women in his eyes.…
Everything is related to the past of LZS. His interest in Liu YuRu. His fight against the Gu family. Everything is there.

At the finger-crushing scene, I'm hoping LZS experienced immense pain and jealousy in hearing how much trust,…
He'll catch up a little (my guess) when she remembers he's the boy who gave her the colored pond pebbles (in her childhood). When she remembers that she won't ever call him a snake again (my guess).
PS: The fact that disallowed screenwriter Liu Yu Ru still remembers (even with so much evidence) must have a significant reason.
PS2: Even the opening music of the drama only shows the main couple (but...it shows Liu Yu Ru in the tree hiding place finding the stones in the lake), thus indirectly shows LZS in the opening music of the drama.
PS3: In fact, I see the LZS story as an interrupted destiny.

was it just me waiting for LZS to get revenge on the princess for making LYR suffer the finger punishment?
I don't know will happen. I would find it consistent with the profile of the character.
On second thought: I think LZS would like to do this, but he wouldn't, as he has priorities that cannot be interrupted by a botched act.

I have never felt that Luo Zishang has been in love, even if he is a villain, he has a tender side, he appreciates the heroine more than the ignorant feelings of childhood that remain in his heart, and he is even the one who supports women's independence and supports the heroine not to rely on her husband! If it is a pure villain, then this role has no contradictions and no place to exercise acting skills, and it is this interweaving of career and feelings that more reflects the acting charm of the actor, of course, for Luo Zishang, his career is definitely more important than love, he did not give up the ambition of revenge and chasing the world because of the heroine, this is enough, why is the affectionate male protagonist more fans? Because the audience still loves affectionate men more, pure and vicious villains still people love fewer, let's take a look at the audience's feedback below:

When Liu Yuru was sentenced, Luo Zishang
stopped for a second and then rushed in great pain to hug Liu Yu Ru.
But Liu YuRu wanted to absolutely reject him, and so Luo Zishang was sad. heartbroken
Male lead villain, I really love him to the end. The sense of someone who knows how to love ah ah ah ah ah ah ah I really feel. Leave me alone, I'll talk nonsense again. πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

I start to hate LZS. The screenwriter made his tricks so low and apparent in drama. In the novel, he's pretty…
This is beautiful. This friendship is really beautiful. But, I don't think there would be time in the drama to put everything pertaining to Luo Zi Shang's character. (He would have to be the main protagonist), an anti-hero story), to contain it all.
PS: I think the Xiao Ming they talk about so much, this brother of Luo Zi Shang in the book (it was mixed in Madam Xifeng and that subordinate who always follows him.). I even got confused that the subordinate who follows him would be him.

Still, it's not a flat character. There are layers shown in LZS (even with the short screen time.).
In the book there is more space and time to develop in more detail, but in the drama it was not possible, because he is not the main protagonist.
A Chinese fan commented (if they developed his character more, there would be two main male leads). But I think in a way it is.
They feel that the way it is in the drama has weakened LZS. (but I think the screenwriter did what was possible to do.).
