Thankfully, Love and Redemption (and its actors) are getting the recognition they deserve.

In episode 30 SHE WAS PERFECT. I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY CRITICAL SO MUCH. THE TWO WERE WONDERFUL. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT KIND OF THING. THE TWO ARE IRREPLACEMENTS.

I don't see that. Both have their importance. Cheng Yi is irreplaceable in this role. But Cristal Yuan is also irreplaceable in this role. They are both irreplaceable ingredients of Love and Redemption. But that Cheng Yi has more strength in the interpretation. Cristal Yuan did well, and they combine and have chemistry. (The two actors are shy and have something similar in them that helped them to identify with each other and interpret their roles together perfectly.)

(episode 30) Now, with subtitles, I found the dialog between Chu Xuanji and Hao Chen and between Hao Chen and Siming so interesting. Hao Chen is sometimes very contradictory. He loves, but he doesn't love Chu Xuanji, does she belong to him, or doesn't she? What love is that, Hao Chen? (but this time he really seemed to love her because his mortal life was put at risk in the process.) I liked Chu Xuanji putting him against the wall to do this for Si Feng.
P.S: Xiao Yin Hua, every time she tries to save her beloved Si Feng, she makes a mistake, but she always does it with the best intentions.

Who said Cristal Yuan doesn't know how to cry? Chu Xuanji in episode 30, when Si Feng is pierced by Ru Yu's sword, she cries so deeply that it almost feels like the end of the series when the hero dies. And then, she practically forces Hao Chen to save Si Feng's life (risking his own life in the process), as she would rather die trying to save Si Feng's life than not doing anything. (And all of this, and all the actors played so well !!).

What a pity that there is not a team of subtitlers to translate faster. But we are still privileged that someone is putting subtitles.

Ohh! And that fellowship was very convincing here.

In this episode (I don't remember if it was already subtitled), I understood the word Da ga (brother) that Si Feng and Wu Zi Qi dealt with each other. And I noticed the brother's emotion for the friend Si Feng (the tear in the corner of Wu Zi Qi's eye when Si Feng was stabbed). I found it so touching, they looked like real brothers. And that brother / friend took Si Feng away in time of danger.

Romeo and Juliet die once and forever. But the protagonist couple of "Love and Redemption" dies at least 9 times, maybe 10.

His part starts to get important after a few episodes (even though he is just the main protagonist's friend). He already showed here his heroism and ability to fight magic (he is better at this than the other characters). (His way of making that magic shield in "Love and Redemption" I remembered him a lot in "Noble Aspirations / Legend of Chusen).
