Eh. Popularity contest for the of-the-moment actors. Miura Haruma was phenomenal in Boku no Ita Jikan. Sato was good in Ruroni Kenshin, and he's a good actor, but he certainly wasn't better than Miura. Also, where's Wakamono tachi?

But, as much as I disliked Shitsuren Chocolatier, I'm so glad Kiko's up there. She was the saving grace for that drama. I would watch it again just for her.

Title Say "I Love You" Spoiler
to be honest, atleast i can watch l-dk without really feeling the awkwardness.. but this one the awkwardness is…
Though I've not seen L-DK, so I can't comment on that, but I completely agree with the lack of chemistry between them. It's a shame, because I loved the manga so much. That being said, I did find it watchable and enjoyable, but on a whole, I didn't find the chemistry between any of the characters all that great.

You're spot on about the kissing though. Even the scene where Masashi was kissing Aiko's stretch marks, he was push pushing his face into her stomach. The acting was fine, the chemistry was pretty average though.

All of this is loosely based on some facts and rumors that are flying around, so it's honestly hard to form an opinion, and I don't think that anyone should until the investigation's finished. I'll admit that I was surprised when I heard about this, but I guess most people would be when something like this comes out. Whether he brutally beat her on multiple occasions or not, the fact remains that his agency and even he had admitted to hitting her once, and so he should absolutely be made accountable for it. If those photo's are legit, then even more so. That anyone could do that to another person is disgusting and they need to be rightfully punished for it. They're certainly not wounds that she could have inflicted on herself, or gained from just falling over. Even if they were just 'playing'. There have been plenty of times that I've been playing around and rough-housing with my boyfriend, and he's accidentally elbowed me in the leg or something. At the most I got a tiny blush of a bruise, certainly nothing like hers and certainly not multiple, so I'm calling complete bull on that theory.

I hope for both of their sakes this is a misunderstanding, but I'm doubtful, sadly. Either way, I applaud her. It takes a lot of guts to stand up to someone who abuses you, whether mentally, physically or emotionally. If all of this is factual, she did the right thing.
