yes the sea ban (mentioned in episode 13) was famously a Ming policy

true - IMO Flora was pretty clear with her ex too, I think she drew a pretty clear line under their relationship, but her ex was being obtuse by turning up at her hotel room.

I would say that Luke meeting up with his childhood friend who he knew had a huge crush on him, and hugging her, was a parallel with the ex-BF arc, and he didn’t tell Flora about it full stop, iirc.

not really

cold, emotionally constipated, and apparently somewhat face blind

how is anyone meant to know - it’s not even halfway finished airing yet?

Same! Same! I will just rewatch Road Hone while waiting for more episodes.

How does ‘not bad, just safe and generic’ warrant one star? Surely pedestrian ’meh’ deserves 3-5?

it’s fine, but the end doesn’t live up to the beginning - it felt like the writers were doing paint by numbers the last 2.5 episodes

you may not have loved the drama, but I found your review very enjoyable, thanks 😄

This was quite cute and fun, with a satisfying ending and some laugh-out-loud moments. FL had to be a leeetle bit dumb not to realise that the ML and his family were rich as Croesus but it was all quite charmingly done, so that was easy enough to get over!

the ones on YouTube are pretty sound

it’s also on iQiYi if you like watching with bullet comments 😄

the captivity hairdo made me laugh out loud - it was so bad!

I think it was for umbilical cord blood, but yeah everything else I agree with

Yeah, I’m finding it cute ☺️ If you watch C dramas the second couple in “You Are My Secret” gave me similar vibes.

I think she tried to get him back to his own place but he’d changed the door passcode (and presumably wasn’t in a state to tell her the new one), so she basically took him home like stray animal she’d found and chucked him in the spare room. I’m 100% certain that he stripped off himself, and I definitely think he has a big old unaknowledged crush on his seonbae.

Your review made me laugh - I shall go forth with character tracker firmly in hand! Thanks

The take I had from that scene is that the driver had marked it as delivered already and she had to wait 30 minutes after that to actually receive her order.

yes, glad he appears to have been un-cancelled
