Finally finished it. The first couple episode untill mid was so promising. But toward the end felt unfocus and rushed. As if the scriptwriter made the stories end the way it was no matter how unlogical it became. I wished the FL gave more facial expression, she held back so much.
The problem I find with this conflict is it's impossible to find a nuanced conversation and there's so much anger…

The kdrama that had lost its spark on the 2nd half. It was so promising on their first 5 episodes, but declining along the way. Too many unnecessary drama. Especially the last episode. He was an FBI trainee yet he seems so clueless in so many ways.
It was not as exciting as the 1st season. Maybe bcoz the games they choose not as thrilling as previous one? I couldnt careless with most character maybe because there are limited background stories from the new characters. They spent too many scenes on the voting, i skipped most of it. For someone who tried too hunt the mask men for 2 years, Gi hun seems lack of preparation in any aspect. And I thought he would smart enough to notice there must be some possibilities that someone from the games inventor would disguise themselves as the participants. They even shared the same "001" Gong yoo as psychopath and the transgender army steal the show, Excellent performances from them.
(-) It was too short per episode, made everything become unclear. Like what is the ML and the other student motives behind the mural/ vandalism. What makes ML return back to japan. Even the conversation in most of the scenes feel too rushed. The connections between Ren and chiaki are deeper than the main couple. I still dont know what made him liked Miu in the first place if he trully liked her? They barely interact each other. (+) i love it has many POV. Not only from the main lead. It gives justice to the tittle The main couple are beautiful. The ML has a mysterious vibes, he is attractive indeed I love the cinematography, very artistic.
Agree. He was never on my radar. LOL. I watched his previous drama ( put your head on my shoulder) yet i didnt find him attractive. But in this drama, he looks good, he nailed his role as Liang daiwen also.
Well, still long way to conclude the ending. It has 36 episodes to develop the storyline. There might be any strong SFL for LDW, or an angsty ending to break our heart further😅😆. I just hope they would not make it a cliche and cheesy story
Its getting better and better, there some funny and embarrassing scene. I know why they chose the FL, her smile is so captivating. But the color grading a bit too dark for me....i hope it will focuse more on the fl and ml story for the next episodes.
The tittle should be "Manipulating you". Bc everyone using everyone. The plot is great ( ilove the first 10 episode the most). They should shortened the episode where they were in yoelou and focusing more on the revenge to the king. both wei zhao and pei yan were the spotlight of the show. They succeeded in bringing character complexities. All the cast have their own flaws depend on perspectives. I feel like they should end the show at 38 bcoz the death scene of wei zhao so unnecessary and overly dramatic. He always the smart one to notice something fishy yet he swallowed that damn pill given by the king without a doubt. The jiang ci is hit or miss character....she could be so dumb and making anything worse. I wish Liandi could have been better in delivering expressions.

What bothering the most is how easy for Alen to acces the yunpei palace without single guard notice about it. He was like basically lived there😅
This is a masterpiece. I binged watch it untill episode 12 (i shed my tears too) and finished it in 3 days. props to the production team especially the scriptwriter who made this plot very relatable dan touching. I could really feel the devastation of children, family bonding, friendship, the redemption, sincerity and love life in this drama. The comedic timing, sad scene, fluffy romance scene was on point. The character development was very realistically portrayed. Props to the casting team who choose these talented actors and actresses. Every character here was very well acted and had a strong presence. You would be invested in their story. The dialogue was natural like everyday conversations. I would say seven tan and steven zhang were the man of the show. Their acting was a top tier. He Ziqiu story touched me the most. 10/10
