Title Step by Step
I'm struggling. I want to like this series, but the work stuff is a little too boring for me. I wish they cut it down to the TLDR version of it. I don't think every single detail is important. Just give us the broad strokes and then focus on the emotions and emotional interplays. It seems like everything gets turned into a big deal and therefore everything ends up feeling the same, robbing the actually important moments of their power.

I like the actors! I like the filming! The locations are great! I think I will stick with the show, but it is a bit of a struggle to get through the episode each week because my brain just does not want to focus on the office drama details!

These are just my thoughts, I'm glad other people are really enjoying it!

you didnt like the series ? ^^
Like I said, I don’t think I’m the target audience. I’m happy other people are enjoying it. But no, I’m not enjoying it. I want to like it, but the above issues are keeping me personally from enjoying it. No criticism is intended of those who like the series, I am just sharing my personal experience. :)

I don't think I'm necessarily the target audience for this show, so take my comment with a grain of salt. Toxic relationships aren't usually my thing. That being said, I think they can sometimes be compelling. I enjoyed the Pete / Vegas story line on KinnPorsche. I think what is missing here is a sense that the characters actually like each other? They talk about it a lot, and are clearly possessive of each other, but I don't think we've ever actually seen them connecting about something; there is no scene showing why they fell in love or care about each other. Without that, all you're left with is the toxicity. I think you need more than that if you want the audience to root for the couple.

Also, you need a plot. Not the same repeated Itt-is-sad / mad, Day-is-an-ass, they-sort-of-make-up-as-a-random-assortment-of-friends-watch that happens every week.

Can anyone who has read the third book tell me if there is more to the plot than the memory loss? So far, it looks like all of the other interesting bits in the trailer are flashbacks to events in the first two books.
No offense to anyone involved in the production, but I feel like they needed to give us a little more time with Itt and Day and show us some of the sweetness of their relationship. All we got was weirdness with cake and then it immediately cut to amnesia. It's hard to be invested in Day's recovery when the show didn't give us a chance to get invested in Day and Itt's relationship.

What was that soundtrack during the love scene??? It felt like they accidentally swapped the soundtrack with one from an 80’s occult horror movie, with a brief interruption for a Transformers sound effect???

Also, are we supposed to like / root for Nine? He is cheating on his girlfriend, pursuing a guy who has asked him repeatedly to stop, is chasing after someone his best friend loves, and bought into their company under false pretenses. Based on what we’ve seen so far, if things go sour with Daoneau, it wouldn’t be out of character for him to just abandon and screw over the company too. I don’t understand his character motivations at all.

I just... What even was that? I really feel for Kimmon and Copter. It must be really boring as an actor to be stuck in roles where you play the same beats over and over again. The vast majority of the cast is too talented to be stuck in something like this. Yes, the actors are talented and fun to watch, but no one is so talented that I would want to watch something like this ever again. Also, someone needs to give Us a real role!

It's clear there was at least a somewhat large financial investment into this series, I just don't understand what the point was. I wish there was more thought or intention put into these projects. It really seems like these actors (and crew) could do something really good if there was more purpose in what they were doing.

Also, I understand that the theme songs are often released as their own songs. I've purchased a lot of theme songs to shows. But playing the whole song as the opening credits? I guess being forced to watch 4 minutes and 20 minutes of boring opening credits should have been a hint that the next 6 episodes would be full of nothing too.
