I actually didn't think this season was so bad. There were a lot of moments of reflection rather than the intense action scenes we saw in the first part. Despite that, I liked the pacing and slight plot shift. No doubt the finale was sad and depressing, but I guess I was prepared for an ending like this (you can't expect much else with war films), so it didn't shock me as much as it probably should have. I was only surprised by how it happened, though I can imagine the pressures from society and war can definitely cause someone to have a mental breakdown over time. At least we got to see a different, happier ending thanks to the after-credit scene with the entire gang singing and dancing together. It made what happened a bit less painful. Overall, this was a pretty decent series despite the tragic ending.
This drama was so good! But really, that ending was just too sad for me 🥺 I still enjoyed it and would gladly watch it again someday. I'll just pretend Tianyi is still alive 😢
I admit I came here for Lee Dong Wook, but I ended up falling in love with the entire cast. The characters are all so likeable, and the story itself is really cute. I highly recommend this film if you're looking for something light-hearted and fluffy <3
I have no words to describe how incredible this film this. I now understand why it has such high ratings. Based on the synopsis, I expected something much more lighthearted. However, I'm certainly not disappointed with how the story progressed. I highly recommend giving this movie a watch. It's definitely a 10 out of 10 in my opinion :)
Absolutely phenomenal acting in this film. The storyline itself touches on a sensitive topic, but I love how nothing is off-limits for Japan. My only complaint is that I wish the movie was longer so that we could get an even deeper look at the characters and how their stories coincide with each other. Still, this film is a solid 9.5 out of 10 for me :)
This series is absolutely phenomenal in all aspects: the cinematography, acting, plot development, etc. I do admit, however, that I initially dropped it around episode 11, as I was under the impression it was BL, and after realizing it was censored, I felt a bit duped haha. I actually watch a variety of shows, so I didn't drop it because it's not BL; I just felt a bit disappointed and misguided at first. But after I got over the fact it wasn't BL, I started seeing it in a new light and realized that the story itself is something you can't help but feel impressed by. Plus, the relationship between the main leads, as well as all the fantasy and action-packed elements, make this show one heck of a watch. I'm amazed at everything this series has achieved and can't wait to watch the special edition next!
I started this series but unfortunately had to stop watching because the subs aren't very coherent on iQiyi. I appreciate the efforts with the subs nonetheless, but if anyone has a better option on how to watch this show, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!
The trailer looks great! I loved the Korean adaptation, so I'm excited to see this version as well. Also, Inspector M is back! I haven't seen him since Manner of Death. Can't wait to see him, and the rest of the cast, in this series 😊
At this point, I just appreciate how simple and lighthearted this drama is. It's a nice break from the typical angsty and long-winded dramas I usually watch :)
• Team x Win

A very cute series indeed!
