I loved this series! I truly appreciate and respect all of the cast and crew for their amazing work on this show. The emotions and feelings were so raw and real, especially coming from See-Eiw. Earth and Santa, as well as the other actors, were beyond brilliant from start to finish. I also love the storyline as a whole. The relationship between Cake and See-Eiw was so natural and pure. It's rare to see actors having this much passion and commitment for their respective roles. Bravo to everyone involved for bringing such a beautiful and memorable series to life, and for sharing it with us š
This was one of the cutest, most fluffiest movies I've ever seen. I was gushing over the characters from start to finish. So happy for them and their much-deserved happy ending š
This show was just too cute! I couldn't stop gushing over the characters, as they were all so likeable, and wishing for the best for all of them. This drama is definitely worth a 10 in my opinion ^_^
The trailer looked cool but the actor Man is wayyyy too ugly for me ahahaha
I agree that the trailer looked super cool! And there's nothing wrong with having a different opinion. As for me, though, I couldn't stop gushing at how handsome Man is while watching the trailer. Super excited for this show! ^_^
Wow! What a profound drama. I'm truly astounded by the cast and crew of this show. There were so many great emotions and feelings expressed here. The heavy dialogue, the not-so-subtle sexual tension, and the overall cinematic brilliance really made this show a worthy watch for me. Despite the somewhat depressing ending, I do think it's a bit open-ended as well. In did tell Wang, "Hold on to your beliefs, and maybe one day...". Couple that with In standing on the bridge with his cast still on, but knowing he'll get it off soon, alludes to the fact that perhaps someday In will conquer his fear, cross that bridge, and finally confess his feelings (in words) to Wang. Whether or not Wang has moved on and/or is still in love with In at that point, we won't know for sure. We just have to hope that they'll meet again and still have the same feelings for each other so that they can finally be together and give themselves (and us) some much-needed closure.
Hi? So I pick this series for an assignment, a reaction paper for a movie/series and Iām having a hard time…
Hi there, I'd be happy to help! Here's my take on the story:I think Mieko has a side to her that borders on selfless and selfish. Yes, she ultimately had a hand in breaking up the trio because she didn't want to give up the relationship she had with both Makki and Eiji (especially since she felt left out knowing they were dating and she couldn't be romantically linked to either of them), but she still put her life on pause and her body on the line to be a surrogate for them so that they could stay together and also have a family of their own. I never once saw her as conniving or manipulative to be honest. I just feel like she instigated this situation that started with good intentions, but ultimately ended up backfiring on them. I don't think it was anyone's fault for how things turned out; it's just an inevitable outcome when there are three people involved in a relationship ā there's always going to be one person who feels left out. For this reason, I never saw Mieko as a villain, just a girl who wanted to find purpose in her life, which I think she did by taking on the motherly role of nurturing and raising her daughter. As for Asato, I really like his character. From the start, he seemed kind of like Eiji ā timid, subtle, and good-natured in his actions. The growing love and affection he had for Makki was also a pleasant surprise. I feel like Makki just wanted someone to put him first and care for him more than anyone else, so it was great seeing Asato be that person for him. I also feel like the way he treated his grandfather is the same as how Eiji treated his parents ā he couldn't completely forgive his grandpa, but he also felt some sense of filial piety, even if it was small. In terms of the lesson I got from this story, I don't actually know to be honest. I guess I would say just to be more communicative and expressive with your feelings and emotions. I feel like Makki could've opened up more about how he was feeling about the whole situation. If he had, he wouldn't have felt like his only option was to run away from everything after feeling betrayed. I definitely feel like Eiji should've stood up for himself in front of his parents as well. He wouldn't have felt so pressured to give them a grandchild if he had a bit more backbone and was willing to put his relationship with Makki before his parents' demands and expectations for him. Lastly, I do think that Makio should'nt have tried to convince Makki and Eiji to have a child with her. I think we all expected things to go south once she brought up that idea haha. But ultimately, I guess the lessons for this story would be: don't try to force your expectations on others; don't play along with others just to make everyone happy; and most importantly, communicate! Again, these are just my different opinions on the show and characters. It's completely fine if you disagree or don't find my summary entirely useful lol. But I hope it can help you at least a little. Good luck with your assignment! :)
Can someone for the love of god tell me how, when and why regarding the 2nd couple? I get it has only 8 episodes…
I totally agree! I was surprised to see Ray kissing Jian so suddenly, especially since we haven't seen much of them together. I was also incredibly frustrated with Ray and him being so upset at Jian just because the latter wanted some time to think about the kiss and his own feelings. Their love story definitely feels a bit rushed, but they're also such a cute couple. I hope we get to see more of their interactions in the final two episodes ^_^
I really enjoyed the diverse cast of characters and complex relationships portrayed in this show. I thought the story was interesting from start to finish, even after the main couple broke up. However, I was hoping that things would work out with Xue Tong and Liu Qi to be honest, so I was quite surprised and a bit blindsided with the finale since their relationship seemed cute and fluffy, and it was quite obvious how much Liu Qi liked and cared for Xue Tong. I wanted to rate the series higher, but I still can't get past the ending lol.
Hi there! I finally got around to watching the final episode for this series. Thank you so much for uploading it with English subs. I truly appreciate it! š
