She grows a little but I still found her character very predictable and lacking in dimension. There's comparitively quite a few steamy scenes but its mainly on the side of the ML.

Title Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace
I was anticipating this drama for ages and loved the beginning but I'm finding it really hard to get through the last part of this drama. One thing I find really difficult with most Chinese dramas is that when things go south for a character they really go south. Rather than breaking it up a little with small rays of hope its just 10-20 episodes of crushing depression. I feel like that is what is happening with this drama (although who knows there could be a surprise).
