Since you keep flooding with the same comments, I'll give back the same energy.

"Police arrested actor Jiratpisit "Boom" Jaravijit, 27, in Chatuchak district on Wednesday for alleged money-laundering following a complaint that he fraudulently lured a foreigner into investing 797 million baht in digital currency."

"The Anti-Money Laundering Office (Amlo) has seized assets worth 210 million baht from actor Jiratpisit “Boom” Jaravijit, his family members and other people involved in the 797-million-baht bitcoin fraud case.

The transaction committee concluded that the suspects had colluded in laundering money. They had used the money to acquire 64 assets worth 210 million baht in total. The assets included cash in bank accounts and land."

"Per the AMLO, the assets which have been seized from Jiratpisit include five bank accounts. Two of the bank accounts had a combined balance of around 4 million baht. Additionally, a plot of land registered in the actor’s name estimated to be worth 43 million baht was also seized bringing the combined value of his seized assets to 47 million baht (US$1.4 million)."

"While Jiratpisit ("Boom") denies the allegations, the Crime Suppression Division found that Jiratpisit and his crew withdrew BTC from their e-wallets which they then converted into baht." , "Despite denying his role as the mastermind, evidence showed significant funds flowing to his accounts."

Boom paid 2 million baht to be released on bail and the case was only withdrawn because the complainant signed a settlement deal. It was speculated that the suspects agreed to return 10-20% of the stolen funds according to the Thai media.

is that true ?
It was never proven that it was his brother's fault. In fact, most of his family members were involved in the scam and his brother was also insisting on his own innocence. So which one of them is saying the truth? He was released on bail after paying 2 million baht and the case was only withdrawn because the complainant signed a settlement deal. Like I said, people can just look for the news if they want to know all about it. Boom's digital footprint is easy to track. Even if you scroll down his own page here on MDL, you'll find people talking about his fraud scandal years ago. How am I "misleading" the fans when I'm merely just stating a simple fact that he was arrested. He has an arrest record in Thailand. Changing his name cannot hide it forever.

Yes, all true.

"Police arrested actor Jiratpisit "Boom" Jaravijit, 27, in Chatuchak district on Wednesday for alleged money-laundering following a complaint that he fraudulently lured a foreigner into investing 797 million baht in digital currency."

You can easily find all these information if you google Boom's old name and there were even photos of the arrest.

But he proved he is innocentIf you know that he got arrested then you also know that he prove his innocence. I…
Boom was arrested because they had evidences against him. Even if he kept denying it, he still wasn't able to prove that he wasn't involved. Just a fact. As for the settlement deal, it was speculated that the suspects agreed to return 10-20% of the stolen funds according to the Thai media.

Idk why you're all getting angry at me for sharing this info when many Thai people already knew about this, that's why he struggled in getting acting works for years. Changing names can't hide his past forever.

Is it convicted or suspect?
And Boom could also very well be an accomplice given that most of his family is involved in the scam. The assets and properties are still under his name and even though he kept denying (just like how his brother also tried to deny), he still wasn't able to prove that he wasn't involved at all. He wouldn't have been arrested if the police didn't have evidence against him. He's lucky the complainant agreed to sign a settlement deal.

His innocence is still unclear to this day. Literally according to the news: "While Jiratpisit ("Boom") denies the allegations, the Crime Suppression Division found that Jiratpisit and his crew withdrew BTC from their e-wallets which they then converted into baht." , "Despite denying his role as the mastermind, evidence showed significant funds flowing to his accounts."

The charges were only dropped because the complainant agreed to sign a settlement deal.

The police had lots of evidences against them but the suspects managed to reach a private settlement with the complainant. Apparently they returned about 10-20% of the stolen funds. These are all public information if you google Boom's old name.

I don’t think many of you know but the lead actor Boom was arrested in 2018 for crypto investment fraud worth $24 million USD with his siblings and it was all over the local news. No wonder he changed his name now.

I remember this guy was arrested for crypto investment fraud in 2018 with his siblings and it was all over the thai news. No wonder he changed his name now. That's why he couldn't get any acting jobs for years and why he doesn't have much thai fans because his reputation in Thailand is not good.
