If you seriously thought YEH is masculine in this drama, then you should realize what a fantastic actress she…
I have watched both and actually many gender swap dramas, and still think she was the best at playing a guy. Actually the scene when they were first both wearing the black suits in the streets, IMHO, the PD messed up, b/c you can tell she was a girl then, the way she walked, and when they did a skip in the streets and the Rose of Sharon blooms were flying in the wind.
It was ok, it could've been better if the FL wasn't so masculine and childish, it was like the ML was trying to…
If you seriously thought YEH is masculine in this drama, then you should realize what a fantastic actress she is, she is actually very pretty, very feminine.. go watch Missing You and you will see how beautiful she is, or Lie to Me or just google her modeling photos. In fact, Gong Yoo was not impressed that she was chosen as Eun Chan because of this as she was an idol with only Goong under her belt, but he himself said after that he was so impressed with her and that she was the only person who could have played Eun Chan. She cut off all her hair to play Eun Chan!!!
Even though I haven't watched the show yet, I watched "My Dear Youth - Coffee Prince"... just for my love of Gong…
Yes, I have never forgotten this drama. When I see lists of the best, classic kdramas and don't see CP, I know the author is lacking, seriously. It's like Scarlet Heart Ryeo, it stays with you forever.
Good thing you asked! No, it isn't. I really don't understand why this is so celebrated. It starts really good.…
Please don't get offended, but all I can think of as a response to your not understanding WHY it is so celebrated, you did not watch the same drama that most of us who completely love and admire this drama for what it portrayed at that time as well as today watched...and so you didn't get the intent and lessons learned. As well as the excellent acting, music etc.
I watched this drama something like 8 years ago and really liked it already back then, but now I decided to rewatch…
so totally agree with all you say!! I think it's why it's my favorite drama of all asian dramas, and I have sadly watched hundreds of them. I have rewatched it at least 6 times, and it always feels fresh when I watch it. Made me a complete forever Yoon Eun Hye fan! The music was also fantastic!
As you see in my comment above, I loved the show. Still, I need to say I was quite disappointed with the short…
I can somewhat agree although their chemistry was so out of this world that we could forgive the shortness at the end. I see so many dramas as if the last episode is so rushed and almost incomplete when they had all the time in the world to make them more 'perfect'.
Happy for her and for YKS as well. just so odd they went around for so MANY years, and months after they broke up, BOTH get married to non celebrities...
Enjoyed the drama, the suspense, the acting by the mains and support. I watched because of ZLY and was not disappointed, she was very emotive when needed to be. I liked that there was no romance as well, showed a different side to her abilities. Def worth watching.
she's not classically pretty, but a captivating actor, I, too, will watch anything she's in. Just saw Beautiful Tomboy on netflix and just had to follow her.
script/acting all good, can't ask for more.
