What’s with these mini-dramas and the numerous BE’s lately! 😡😡😡

Oh, Zhao Lusi and Liu Yuning caught in a steamy love affair at Disneyland? Let me guess, Mickey, Minnie, and Tinker Bell served as the eyewitnesses? Sounds like someone’s been hitting the pixie dust a little too hard.

So basically... that last scene with the family is his dreams. He has his family, his wife and their theoretical kid whenever he's asleep BUT evey time he's awake he has no idea who she is, just that he misses someone that doesn't exist KNOWING there's a hole in his memory. He doesn't know WHY he has to go to Sushui on Grain Buds day, (to marry her and fulfill his promise) he just knows he HAS TO. Honestly, it's depressing and I'd HATE to live as he's "living", an empty shell. At least if he remembered her he'd have their love to keep him company OR the choice to follow her to the grave. Instead, as it says, he doesn't wish to die (for eternity) just for Xiaomon, most likely since he doesn't know who she is or if she's dead, just that he wants to be with her.

I wonder that too, and when they drop a drama because of that I wonder why they watch drama 🤦🏼I have many favorites, and I watch all their drama even if they have a guest role. I discovered many new actors that way.

Me too! I was just about to post asking for others to explain. IQIYI has the subtitles on the last ferry scene w/ML all jumbled. So didn’t get all the information on the ferry scene. But here’s my take and I’m happy to be proven wrong. The ML said he was working on dream divination in an earlier episode. So the last family scene is the ML giving the FL her happy parting via a dream before she died. The reason I think this is b/c it switched too quickly from her dying to the perfect family scene. Could have been a clear cut HE if he had fed the FL a piece of the fruit from the tree. The close up shot of the tree also showed no fruit in the happy family scene. If there was fruit on the tree- then I would have believed the ML saved her. Or if we saw an obvious shadow, then we would have also known it wasn’t a dream. Plus there was the turquoise 🦋 that is present when illusions occur- not the yellow bixi. So we just saw lots of blooms, no fruit, no obvious shadows, and the turquoise 🦋so think it’s up to us individually to decide how it ends. 2nd reason think it was also a BE bc of the ferry scene. The ferry scene to me was the reality scene. Cause that just felt totally suspicious as to why they put that scene there at all. . But I need the clear subtitles to make sure. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Thank you for this article. I love all the rising male stars here, especially Zhang Wan Yi, Dai Gao Zheng, Wang Xing Yue, and Cheng Lei. Plus there are so many good historical costume dramas premiering this year, that I cannot keep up anymore. I don't have much time to watch them all since I still have to work for a living....LOL.

A must watch for Zhou Ye is Back from the Brink,thou then you'd end up falling for Neo Hou too. Maybe he also needs to be on this list...honestly there are so many amazing young actors in these recent years in China. Truly awesome.

For Wang Xingyue a must watch is The Double. Like...daaaaaamn. His role & acting are just pure beauty there. He's on fire~

Dai Gao Zheng's acting skills are on the next level!!! Can't wait to see him work on bigger projects, he's too good to act in short dramas only
