damn, this drama is like incorporating all the kinks, and tropes that is written in fanfiction.
its soooooooo addicting, and I feel like 14 again, instead of a near 46 year old lady, hahah.
jesus, haha these mini web dramas are really a kind of their own. all the stuff, that would not pass in an big budget drama, much less with big name stars and idols, how are they called these days`?
back then, I guess, these kind of stuff would pass as "guilty pleasures" , just as reading harlequin novels, with those painted covers of pirates and noble born ladies, this is just kind of like the Chinese version of harleqin stuff of my youth.
either way, the ML is hot, he looks a bit like very young cheng yi? maybe?

i hope they release all eps soon.

He have a good screen visual and good acting, i liked him in The last imortal... and also from far he kind of look a bit like Li Hong Yi.

It's giving maladaptive daydreaming by some girl who just wants a hot boy to come save her from the crushing weight of bills. Booktoks would love this and I'm totally okay with it despite it's ridiculousness.

I am on the last episode, have yet to see the ending, but i am surprised nobody is talking about how they redeemed THE PHYSICALLY AND VERBALLY ABUSIVE PSYCHOPATH OF A MOTHER OMG @#₹_&-+()/ WTF IS WRONG WITH ASIAN DRAMAS

This was quite an enjoyable watch. The leads are very likeable characters overall, and their relationship was very sweet. I like that there's no toxicity to it.
I was worried about the ending for a bit since I read comments saying it is not a happy ending., however it seemed happy to me - the whole crew remained together and even celebrated their win at home while our leads were travelling or maybe they just went on their (delayed) honeymoon lol 😁

So you guys are saying to this director messed up several times it's not his first time, because he keep changing the main story of the novel that he adapted to a cdrama and cut important scenes to give it to useless and boring side character, the nepotism and the repetitive scenes given to Ryan now makes it sense, he should cast him in a drama and give him a main role instead of changing key part of the novel and ruined it. I think i will never watch any Li Muge drama ever again and he deserves that hate that he recieve right now.

Not what I expected. But I say that in the best way possible. Suchhhhhh a good BL. I mean, it was just so beautifully done. Easily one of the BLs this year. I need a season 2.
