Did this drama deserve the 8 stars I gave it? probably not.. let's call a spade a spade..
The visuals- down right atrocious! the wigs. makeup. sets, even fight seens were soo B rated. obviously this was not a high budget drama.
the SML & supporting characters- dull, no depth, and just basically existing in the background.
the storyline- average at best! it honestly had so many plot holes and really dragged at times
butttt the romance and chemistry between the ML and FL??? THATS why I gave 8 stars! I guess im a sucker but... the ML was down BAAADDD for the FL👩🍳💋 I'm gonna fall for a red flag simp everytime!
To the people saying why Raik threw a tantrum about Sena being a fan are ignoring the fact that prior to this case, he was sui*idal, he hated himself, didn't value or love himself as his own person but as a product. He wanted to continue making music because of his love for music which saves him from his past and the 3 friends it gave him. The ceo made these boys products, told them they were nothing without him, set traps so that if they tried to leave they'd really have no brand value at all. Plus with all the sasaengs, He started feeling like a brand, no longer a human being as the Idol Raik so anyone who likes the idol, likes the fully manufactured, perfect version of him and not the human with flaws. He felt even more betrayed because he doesn't realise it yet but he is falling for Sena so it left like his only anchor never made it to the ship of his life and it was only his misunderstanding, like all his other obsessive fans used to pretend and cling to him.
By the end of this story he will realise that the two doesn't need to be exclusive of one another. A fan might not know about their idols life completely but that doesn't make it automatically mean that they hate the human side of their idol. Mature fans who quietly enjoy their music and send support so that their favs continue their careers as musicians will accept the natural flaws that comes with being a human too. Like Sena who likes him for being their for her when she needed it the most and decided to pay back as Gold Boy's first fan.
Why the hell people shipping FL with that jerk Prosecutor? I can’t understand how people find it romantic between them ? Are they watching different drama? They maybe delusional right to ship this creep with her. I mean are they just shipping bcoz of his looks lol even then i don't see that guy handsome.
I meant to ship someone atleast there should be a one pleasant scene right ? A gentle conversation btw them but i don't see any one of them in their scenes so how the hell people shipping them. All their scenes is him bullying and talking mean to her. How the hell is that romantic. People are delusional that and there are a group of people who are obsessed that they just wants a second lead character to win FL from ML atleast once that's all
I don't like pointing at people's look but I really wonder how the ml actor got this role. His face procedures are really distracting..they also should've dialled down the make up
Okay, what I like about this is that the FL has a modern woman's attitude. All too often with this trope, the woman going back in time is damn near indistinguishable from other women of that era who were docile and submissive to the patriarchy. They draw within the lines instead of out of them . They usually lack backbone. This FL is feisty and I like that. ML has his perks, but plenty of flaws and I think it's because of the life he's had to live. It's a wonder he's still sane to be honest.
So far, I think it adds something new to the genre and I'm enjoying it
Just started and it's really good! Pleasantly surprised but man, we need some proper slapstick after that depressing year of angsty dramas - even the shop is called lololololpop if you look closely, and that had to be the biggest mahjong deck I've seen in my life. 😂
