All right! I'm officially a. member of Fan Zhi Xin's fan club. This actor is sooooo underrated. Give some major production, big budget drama, stat!!!
I thought during the first episodes that his character is something similar to his character in the lethal man-which I don't really mind because that character is awesome but nooo-Guo Jing Yuan is different-after episode 3 he went from lethal to gpsh darn nice guy-so gentle , protective , soft spoken , incredibly kind, self sacrificing dreamboat-like just really really nice. If it was portrayed by a lesser actor- I'd be rolling my eyes, snoring or yawning but because he's now my bias I'm just swooning like a loon, melting in a puddle going-this lucky lucky girl. Now the FL-after episode 3 my opinion of her did a complete 360. I intially didn't like her-the audacity of this lady, mistrusting my baby boo boo-lol. I mean, I can see where she was coming from but seriously, look at that face-that's the face of an angel, man can do no wrong.( bias bias, I know) Anyway after episode 3 when she finally realized how stupid she is she actually became so adorable-like she's really really cute. She gave her full trust and that was it-she actually became a very sturdy wall that our ML can lean on so yes I forgive you lady-you've made up for your misgivings. She's very childlike most of the time, always wanting to just rely on the ML but when he needed someone-she's there. No questions asked. She protected him just as fiercely as he protected her.
This drama is actually an easy watch. Its entertaining and its the 2nd chinese modern drama I managed to finish. 1st being the Lethal Man of course. I just finished 3 modern dramas. This. Lethal man. And You Are My Glory-which I considered a terrible waste of time because Yang Yang can't act to save his life. Yes I said it. Can't believe that guy is getting some really good, big budget projects when Fan Zhi Xin is just keeping under the radar. World isn't fair sometimes.-but I still believe this guy will get his big break someday-he's still young afterall-just don't make me wait too long

Maybe it’s the script, maybe there’s too much going on to fit everything well into 36 eps, but the show’s emotional depth feels really superficial to me.
There are scenes where the leads are acting their hearts out (like the dialogue in ep26 with the red ribbons), but I’m just not feeling as much as I should
